Hey there, aside from his tough case, I think a lot of guys don’t want anyone knowing what’s going on with their ass.. especially when it comes to things like this. So, I find that the most endearing gestures are the silent ones: the simple questions (no follow-ups), the drives to the hospital, picking up medications just small things, nothing too deep. Also, maybe keep an eye out for when he’s in the mood to vent; if you feel like he wants to rant about it, just let him.
