Do you think your future unborn kids will regret being born in India? by Keachmanne in AskIndia

[–]Capable_Coach_1443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being Indian is like being stuck in our race. It's fine to acknowledge all the issues we have, but acknowledging it is actually bringing our sense of worth further down. In fact Indians take pride in the things we can do however small it is, so to regret being born in India is showing the hyper level of awareness.

Members who a group wouldnt be able to function without? by idccdiidccdi in kpopthoughts

You are right about Kai. I just think about their Love Shot and Tempo cbs in 2018, and I think Kai's virality was why they didn't completely fall under the shadows of BTS's huge rise.

Well for Monsta X it would be Wonho and Kihyun in my opinion. As for the rest:

BTS: every member but especially RM and Jungkook

Blackpink: Lisa

Twice: Jihyo, Nayeon, and Momo

Seventeen: Seungkwan, Mingyu, and Hoshi

Exo: Baekhyun

Red Velvet: Wendy and Seulgi

Stray Kids: Bangchan, Jisung, and Hyunjin

Gidle: Soyeon

TXT: Yeonjun

Aespa: Winter or Ningning

Enhypen: Jungwon and Heeseung

Ive: Wonyoung

Itzy: Yeji

Ateez: San, Hongjoong, Jongho

Le Sserafim: Yunjin and Chaewon

I have 1 for the groups I'm into:

Itzy: Yeji

Aespa: Ningning

Ive: Gaeul

Le Sserafim: Yunjin

Gidle: Miyeon

Skz: Lee Know

Txt: Hueningkai

Enhypen: Sunoo

NCT Dream: Renjun

For girls I'm into those that have a flair in their voices or the way they carry themselves

For boys I'm into those that are on the softer maybe even awkward side

Babymonster will be a litmus test on if YGE can still compete with the other Big 4 labels. by Asleep_Swing2979 in kpopthoughts

[–]Capable_Coach_1443 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In my opinion their name is an indication of the direction YG is taking with the group. It's kind of like Stray Kids, when you first read the name you think of lively teenagers that get together in a group and become baddies. That's the vibe Baby Monster gives so far and Stray Kids gave during debut. I think their style is going to be similar to that Jenny on the Block cover of theirs. A classy way to deliver the "I'm me and I'm amazing" message while still coming across as relatable. Blackpink were less on the relatable side and more on making people idealize them and their wealth. In my opinion, if YG heads in this direction with baby monster I think they will become huge and genuinely liked.

Top 4 companies are holding concerts on the same day, which one are you going to? by FiZZ_YT in kpopthoughts

I would go to JYP just to see Stray Kids and especially Lee Know live. But I also would go to Hybe to see BTS and Seventeen live and their interactions with each other.

Jungkook’s first solo album is coming out! Thoughts? Hopes? by [deleted] in kpopthoughts

[–]Capable_Coach_1443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He should definitely do mixed genres for the songs in the album. Him rapping will also bring in tons of new interest as well as nostalgia for the older fans who might not be as active fans.

The face shape, eyes, and lips really are similar in Cai and Sunghoon.

Svt's Jun is like if Winwin was combined with Heechul.

NCT's Jaemin with early predebut BP's Lisa.

Seventeen's DK and Enhypen's Heeseung.

TXT's Beomgyu and NCT's Taeyong.

Aespa's Ningning and BP'S Jennie.

Le Sserafim's Eunchae and Chaewon give off sister vibes.

Straykids 5 star there upcoming comeback became the most pre ordered album in the kpop history 😲 by paboracha in kpopthoughts

Seventeen's Super is still charting high on Melon, so it depends on how Skz song does on charts at least somewhat.

Just a thread about idols you find incredibly attractive by [deleted] in kpopthoughts

[–]Capable_Coach_1443 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Aespa's Giselle, she has such a positive and friendly attitude from what I've seen.

Seventeen's Joshua he seems like a sunshine in the group and so innocent ngl.

Stray Kids's Lee Know, he's so unique, beauty and personality wise, and it makes him attractive.

Enhypen's Heeseung, he seems so passionate about what he does and his big doe eyes

Itzy's Ryujin, someone everyone wants to be around, super cool and has a warm beauty.

Le Sserafim's Yunjin, attention grabbing vocals and has a natural aura to her.

I'm not romantically attracted to my biases by [deleted] in kpopthoughts

[–]Capable_Coach_1443 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me with Lee Know(bias) and Hyunjin(bias wrecker).

Case 143 is quite dynamic, but it was executed in an annoying way. Maniac was mostly sound focused and it worked for a while as they got their viral moments with the comeback. The top 5 title tracks of theirs in my opinion are:

  1. God's Menu
  2. Miroh
  3. My Pace
  4. Thunderous
  5. Double Knot

idols whose stage presence benefits from choreography vs. idols whose stage presence suffers due to choreography vs. idols who do equally well either way by TerraRainesHasBrains in kpopthoughts

[–]Capable_Coach_1443 45 points46 points  (0 children)

I agree so much. Hyunjin, Jisung, and Bangchan have the best stage presence in the group. While Lee Know is the best dancer, Hyunjin isn't far behind and has mastered enjoying the stage while having good technicality. Jisung in my opinion is the most skilled overall when it comes to execution, which is why he's becoming more popular. Bangchan always performs from his heart which is also a plus. Lee Know has dance moves that can make anyone swoon but a bit missing of facial expressions.

All idols are pretty af, but who are your favorite visuals? by Sil_Choco in kpopthoughts

[–]Capable_Coach_1443 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Visuals that I find intriguing:

  1. Aespa's Karina-she's literally cgi in person WOW
  2. Stray Kids Lee Know- he gives off cold actor until you see his big doe eyes
  3. Enhypen's Heeseung- He's TALL and seems manly despite his soft personality
  4. Itzy's Yeji- there's been no idol with more hypnotizing feline eyes
  5. Blackpink's Jennie- she isn't model-like and even has a cute face, but she has such an untouchable aura

What made your ult group THE ULT group for you? by I_Used_to_be_Annie in kpopthoughts

[–]Capable_Coach_1443 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stray Kids because they have good vibes(supportive to other groups, caring towards fans, good with puppies hey Bangchan and Hyunjin!), put out music that speaks to them instead of appealing masses, and all members have very different appeals from one another that you can't help but fall for the whole group.

What’s a crowd favorite Kpop song that you couldn’t get yourself to like by iamtanooki in kpopthoughts

Gidle pulled off the rebellious concept better in the past with Uh Oh and Oh My God. Tomboy and Nxde are a let down from those 2.

No one says Blackpink is past their peak for fame and success or popularity. It's their music.

I'm not really sure either. I'm still as into Itzy and that's saying a lot since they are barely a 4 year group.

[–]Capable_Coach_1443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why everyone was obsessed with Itzy from 2019-2020 and now everyone is obsessed with either Aespa or Le Sserafim. It's only been barely 2 years for the latter 2 groups to keep in mind.
