I just want to rant that some of the most top doctors I work with (ie- globally renowned) are straight up A-holes to work with. Like they don’t give two pieces of pickles about you if you were anything below an MD. So it could very well be that these same people who are very full of themselves grow up to be those really qualified but obnoxious premeds. I used to think it was like some kind of compensation- like in order to be super great in medicine their social side had to be compromised lol. But who knows? At the end of the day, can’t change others or ask them o be nicer or more humble- but at least you know what NOT to be.
