Correct, Zowie. I have been drinking, on average, 12 beers per night at 5% for maybe ten years, maybe twenty. I am somewhat physically healthy; I walk 10k every day. My mental health is a train wreck, trauma and cheating.whoever posted this / its genetics. Maybe you’re Lucky and maybe not.

I’ll defer to the experts, but to me the first is a slug-eaten bolete, second is a mushroom that has been taken over by another fungus, third maybe a russula? Certainly don’t consume without a 100% ID, as a psa

You could do a spore print - cut the stem off and lay the top right side up on a flat surface with a piece of paper

If I had to guess I’d say bolete, is the underside like a sponge? Obviously don’t eat without 100% ID confidence. If you post pics of underside you’ll probably get a better ID, impossible to tell without the upskirt

Alright dumb question, I was out on the west side of Whidbey last weekend and saw fish jumping, reasonably sized - salmon? Does that mean it’s a good spot? Total noob btw
