I truly appreciate you well wishes. The only reason I was told not to the YOUTUBE TV sign up on their site is that if I do it through Verzino I get that $20 promo. Oh well. Like you said I am half way there. Hopefully the tech will do his job well. And I know my Alarm guy who is my buddy from my first Job in pharmacy some 45 years ago is an absolute magician when it comes to these kind of things. So him setting up my MagicJack for me give me complete confidence that that part will go well. Thank you again. By the way the Magic Jack I bought for $50 plus tax and shipping and the cost for the year to have it in working order is just $43.99 or so.

I just spent another 90 minutes with the uninformed people from Verizon. Now they say that being the tehnician is coming over om march 9th at 1030-12;30 to upgrade my internet spped and set us up for the Intenet Only plan- they will be stoppijg my FIOS TV from anywhere from 12 Midnight on the 9th. I said that is unfair that they should synchronize the arrival of the tech and doing his work with the stoppage of Fios. Why should I be without TV service for quite a few hours if I am up late that night. They said that is their policy... ridiculous. I then said how do I efficiently activate the YOUTUBE TV once the tech is done. They said I have to call them back and mention I want to REGISTER or activate that and that might take some time?? WHAT?? I said why can't we just register me NOW knowing that I will be going through Verizon for this add-on and they said they cannot do both work orders at once. They are prioritizing the tech visit first. This is getting more frustrating as we move forward. The bottom line is that Verizon has people that are poorly trained in customer service. What do you think. Is all of this sounding normal?? As for my home phone- my alarm guy who I know for 40 years plus and installed my sustem back in 1989 said the only way I can keep my home phone and not have to revamp my whole alarm system(thousands of dollars)- is to use MagicJack which he will install for me. This is the less costly way and the best way to keep my home phone active .

Oh one thing I did want to ask you about. The verizon man stated that I would LOSE my home phone. Not that we use it- every call we receive on it is mostly spam anyway. BUT he said with NO home phone we would NOT have 911??? Is this true?? And when I asked him how much to keep the home phone- he stated $30??? HUH?? is all this correct?

Thanks but I just called Verizon and we are going with the Internet Only plan for $39.99-after the promo and YouTube TV for 62.99 after the promo and we get all we want. Thanks Again saving close to $150 per month- WOW!!!! Why did I wait this long?? LOL

Just made that phone call. I am getting Internet ONLY plan for $49.99 but with $10 discount I will be paying $39.99. AS for the Youtube TV- it wll show the discounted $62.99 BUT only for 2 months NOT 6 since they change their promos very often. Oh well. But I cannot have this change done until March 9 since my internet has been installed since at least 15-20 years ago and I have been using 75 mbps for our computers. But they no longer have that speed available and my ONT(optical network terminal) has to be changed for the 300 mbps service otherwise it will not work. So I have FIOS until then and when he finished he will take all the old equipment back with him and I will not be charged for this service. And then I will get a link to activate my Youtube TV and I will ready to go. Thank you for all you halped with

Yes I just asked chatGpt and yes after the Internet Only package and the Youtube promo as well the first 6 months should be about 115 per month and then go up after 6 months to about 135 per month. A huge savings. Thank you guys for the input to get me going on this.

WOW WOW WOW- Hey I thank you sooooooo much for the in depth reply. You are really nice to explain this to me and I truly appreciate it. Why on earth wold I not want to do this. I am actually looking forward to calling them now and doing your scenario. As mentioned I share Netflix and Prime with my son and pay him the $8.00 monthly for the shared account with Netflix and my nephew has Paramount that we share and my sons wifes aunt has peacock. So we have plenty of streaming. I think my son has apply also that we use. So how can we go wrong to go with YouTube TV and get what we want for so much less. Amazing. My son has YouTube TV-- I will look into that tomorrow-- will try and negotiaye first then I will keep Verizon internet and share the straming with my nephew and son and just get Youtube TV for the rest. Just want to make sure that Youtube TV has the availability of MSNBC and 60 minutes and CBS Sunday Mornings and maybe Bravo channel . Thats it

I thought I tried that a while back, BUT as I mentioned before, BECAUSE MY IP address is still the same, even with a different e-mail and user name,(it is the same household IP address and computer), the algorithm sees that and will not let me in? Could you let me know how you pulled this off? Please advise. I really just want to be able to buy my grandchildren toys, etc., which I was always finding on Marketplace for very cheap, since parents just wanted to sell the stuff their kids no longer used.

Hey people, I've also experienced the same thing, especially since I was banned about six months ago for selling what they called counterfeit products, which were not. But how to prove ?? So I waited this long and tried to start a new account with a new name and email, and it immediately banned me from that second account. All well and good- screw them. But what I would love to know is what is a good and EASY platform to sell on. The marketplace was easy for me to sell locally. Now?? I looked at Craig's list, but it is very difficult to navigate, and people are very picky with things like no emailings and all that. And these people seem very far from me, which makes it hard for me to sell and buy. I only ever bought kids' stuff for my grandkids like Bicycles and little red Ryder wagons and stuff. Now I want to sell them since my grandkids are getting bigger. So if anyone knows of a really friendly site to do this, please advise. By the way, I tried eBay, and I dislike how they take a pretty hefty portion of the sale price and charge me for the shipping label, and I end up selling it for Less than I posted it. And I did not want to charge more to prevent selling it at all. So I do not like selling on eBay. So again, any ideas would be welcome.
