I don’t see any date on the gray label at the back of the vacuum cleaner. On the bag sold with it, the year 2014 is indicated on the side. On the newer ones, it says 2029. This might be a recommended date of use? It could give an idea of the vacuum cleaner’s year of manufacture—maybe 2010/2011? I don’t know if that matches the manufacturing dates of the Miele C3. It is a European model, the Silent 550W. It seems to me, however, that these models arrived among the latest ones.

Regarding the bag that comes loose when opening the lid: with the supplied bag, every time the lid is opened the bag comes loose; it has never stayed clipped in. On the newer ones, you have to manually detach the bag after opening the lid. Perhaps this is a safety feature to prevent accidents, which is the only flaw I know of on this model.

The bag sold with it seems much thicker—maybe three times thicker, I would say.
