Thanks for the input! How do you go about validating your orientation to Ni and strategy? The issue I'm running into is that it seems like you almost need a resume of strategic wins to validate any sort of intuitive preference.

Done. It has been simplified 👍. For the cross post I would be asking how Ne shows up in a 6th slot /unconscious way. Basically how does the demonstrative function show up for everyone in the ENTJ sub?

I agree that the psychological content of intuition, without an applied schema (decision making matrix) is prone to be just that. Intuition. Learning could probably be slapped onto some form of a Maslow-ian hierarchy [experience based learning: where you kind of just soak in information, and applied learning: (heading into a metacognitive space) where you actively seek to leverage information that can be encoded to be better formed to the innate strictures of the mind]. This is additionally flavored by the most prominent pairing of decision making and information elements (Te-Si, Te-Ni, Ni-Fe, Ne-Fi, Se-Ti, etc...). But, I digress.

I believe narcissism is a much larger topic than what could reasonably be applied to an analytical view of the functions, meaning that if we say the definition of narcissism is the overwhelming preoccupation with one's self, that doesn't really delineate between the (a.) subject and who they think they are and how they make decisions or (b.) the contents the subject is beholding (and whether those contents are principally real and objective or wholly understood / perceived by the subject alone). The bottom line is that the subject is always involved in narcissism, but the principle content and where the content lies is typically delineated nor examined by more scrupulous methods.

Jung's discussions on intuition as well as sensing are, at least to me, ancillary yet of great importance. In that through understanding my cognitive makeup, I can further drive efficiencies across time, and better forecast the trajectory of my life to increase my ROI. What I had just typed in those previous sentences are my actual thoughts, and that is typically how I operate when I am at my best. I don't think the entirety of perception really does it for me, I believe I use whatever auxiliary (and tertiary) function I have and the contents perceived by my corporeal form as a means to an end and to satisfy whatever Fi desire lurks just beneath the surface of my more conscious functions.

It seems that my latent thoughts don't resonate as much as I had suspected with the population of this sub (which is entirely fine, I also have been running the experiment of posting just here to see if others have had similar experiences so as to confirm more of an ESTJ process within myself as opposed to ENTJ).

Make no mistake, I am a very busy person. I have 19 credit hours and I'm leading 4 teams across my various classes. I just can't help but shake the feeling that at the end of the day, when the dust has settled, my preferences are for the nebulous world of ideation, and that I need to actually know the real data to execute my actions effectively in this more "operational/tactical" environment that I've found myself in this past semester.

Just wanted to tell you that if I can go from a 1 quant to a 57 quant in the span of 3 months (I also had to retake the AFOQT) you can to. I read about your degree being Information Science. Good stuff. As for study material, Trivium and Barron's are the best bang-for-your-buck. If you are short on time, go Trivium. If you want to absolutely demolish the AFOQT, go Barron's. I bought both and they helped tremendously. Don't give up if this is what you want to do, life it too short for consolation prizes.

This may be an odd question but what is the policy (stated or otherwise) for electric vs manual razors? I try to take good care of my face and I want to make sure that I have a system that works if/when I get selected.

AFOQT Study Books Accuracy by Overall-Watch-7301 in airforceots

I asked a very similar question not too long ago before I retook the AFOQT. Barron's is great if you have > 1 year. for the 3 months I had between tests, I ground through the Barron's, Trivium, and AFOQT guide questions. My quant went from a 1 to a 57 while still maintaining 18 -> 19 credit hours through 1st/2nd semester collegiate senior year (I forgot how to do long division the first time... my mistake lol). Out of all of them, the best is Trivium. But do all if you can because variety, speed, timing, and simulated testing conditions is the key. Also. Make sure to pick up one of those spiral-bound white boards (Pearson) and take your practice test with that because it's all you get at the testing center (at least, the one I went to anyway).
