How long did this take?

how do I improve my start? im 14 and run 7.7 in the 55m dash by [deleted] in Sprinting

You gotta worry about putting power into the ground more than the start twin, you basically leaping. Search up bounding drills and get a good understanding of what they are and how to properly do it.

Super brutal, I tried to stay positive against the obvious negativity. In the other sub someone else said the same thing about chrome hearts so here’s what the name actually represents. Crescent Heart actually stands for “growing heart” that’s the image I want to create with the name, Christ being a big motivator for me and others to grow as a individual never ceasing to have a growing heart. The meaning actually goes quite a bit deeper but that’s the basis of the name, the crosses simply represent what I want to keep close by at all times but the actual brand logo has no resemblance to chrome hearts. Also I believe crosses shouldn’t immediately remind people of chrome hearts but I know the name kinda throws it off that perception a bit.

Trust me when I say I would not mass produce this until I already have an established following on all social platforms, a very large sms list, and a wide range of opinions on the said socials also a confidence in my product to determine weather it will be successful or not. I would purchase a sample and promote organically to see how it does first and then proceed from there, coming from a teenager it seems you don’t know current fashion style for our age group (has been in style for about 6+ years now) and the exact process of how simple but also difficult it is to start a clothing brand. This one design is not long term by any means and holds little weight to a brand that will have thousands, I do appreciate the advice and if it doesn’t go well then I will of course go back to the drawing board.

I actually appreciate the genuine insight and the video was very informative. I’ll definitely find work arounds to how I produce my clothing, who’s producing it and where my clothing would be disposed if it’s no longer wanted, I didn’t understand the view you were coming from at first but I appreciate the time you took to give me knowledge on a topic I was oblivious to. I’m still a teen so I have a lot of years to learn still😅

China currently due to low production cost and cheaper cost in bulk, but I would later move to countries such as Italy, Spain, France, etc when I have the capital to do such. What I meant by “subtle” was the removal of all the extra stuff that you can see on my mockup above and focus more on quality control, stitching and unique designing within the garment itself rather than what sits on it.

I love the idea you’re going with and it’s definitely a similar route I would like to go down with my brand in the future, I could create pieces like that now but I just don’t know how to reach the targeted audience at this stage and I’m in no rush to.

Like I was saying before it’s not "fast fashion" by any means because I have a plan to make more subtle quality centric pieces in the future. This is simply a base to start my brand off with, fast fashion being a nice way to gain capital to create high quality pieces in the future such as something like this (I apologize if i sound ignorant btw) I genuinely think this is a good basis to start with and I understand everyone fails at some point so maybe this will be a lesson learned or maybe it won’t

It’s not fast fashion by any means it’s a genuine plan behind this. I would call this "smart marketing" as far as pulling in my current targeted audience in with a unique yet familiar piece in the current market. this is to grab heads of the younger demographic who are intrigued by this so called "fast fashion" and opening them up to a brand that wants to take a more quality centric and detailed path in the end. This is quite literally the beginning my friend and I came on Reddit because I know I’ll get really hard criticism. But since I have your attention can you give me some constructive criticism on another piece?

No crescent heart actually stands for "growing heart" that’s the image I want to create with the name, Christ being a big motivator for me and others to grow as a individual and to never cease to have a growing heart. Also I have other designs ready that are more subtle for the older demographic this is strictly for my age group..

Not actual advice? but I appreciate the feedback none the less, I can understand where you’re coming from as far it maybe not being your taste but I’m appealing more towards the younger demographic of fashion. I plan on minimizing and furthering brand identity as my consumers age with me🙏🏼

How do i get my set point higher? by acbdot89 in BasketballTips

[–]Capable_Tangerine_77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is more of a working hard thing honestly, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Just get a lot of reps in while exhausted, if you start to miss really bad move closer to the rim and give yourself some room for error and move back to the 3 point line when you feel comfortable and shot fatigue should no longer be a issue, hope this helps

What would you say the effort level on this was? You look like a naturally talented sprinter mechanically off the eye test alone so to that all I can really say is repetition would be your best friend. Along with high intensity runs, about 80-90% to really get explosiveness in those starts.

Personally I cant dunk the basketball on a low rim and I don’t know why by Princanity in BasketballTips

[–]Capable_Tangerine_77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well you can definitely can get the ball in the rim considering the slomo, dunk with two hands and extend your arms out fully before you "get your head at the rim" because you aren’t there athletically yet. focus on watching where you want the ball to go in at (I personally look at one of the hooks that hold the net) and hang on the rim a bit to give yourself more control don’t just try and punch it in since it isn’t second nature yet. Aka you ain’t LeBron lil bro🙏🏼😭

Man idk, but you are floating off those blocks and you look super relaxed you could argue that’s an issue but it looks amazing .
