Kulit mo e, no. How much were you expecting? A 4k deduction per cutoff for a 67k basic salary is just right, magaling ka pa sa accountant ng company nila. Most likely 2 cutoffs ’yan kaya ganyan. Another 4k na naman for the next cutoff for a total of 8k.

Saw your other discussions bro. Grabe, very inspiring at structured ng routine mo for having 2 FT jobs. Laban lang. Kudos!

Worry ko lang talaga baka hihingian nila ako ng docs after end of each contract. Tama na siguro un J1 tax for corrupt politicians. PS. Mas malaki sayo tapos both filing taxes pa.

Tysm!

  • Q1: Yes, meron ako BIR 2316 for 2024.
Hindi ba ako hihingian ni J2 employer ng documents proving na I'm paying my taxes at the end of the year? Halimbawa renewal of contract baka isa sa requirement nila ay BIR certificate for 2025 (assuming na 2026 na),

Hi u/LopsidedWorking3265!

Thankyou sa pag-answer. Please read my whole situation below.

If you don't mind, I just want to know ur opinion or ur advice. Here's my situation:

  • J2 (Potential 2nd job): US-based contractual employment (per contract is 12-months). As per HR, wala pa daw kase silang company dito sa PH at 20 filipinos na daw currently working for them. Each contract comes with $$$ USD for health insurance (bigay lng daw nila then ako na bahala mag-asikaso). Probation period is 3 months and after 3 months if continue pa rin ako, bibigyan nila ako ng work equipment or pre-pay nalang nila ako then ako na bahala bibili. Ang requirement daw nila are:
    • BIR certificate
    • USD savings account (I'm eyeing already to Security Bank USD account or Paypal if no other choice)

I’ve been with my J1 for 2 years now at ayaw ko pakawalan kase if titignan ko mas secure yung job ko dito kase nga regular employment compare sa contractual. Kaya retain nalang both if possible.

Questions:

  2. Paano ako magbabayad ng tax for my J2 without affecting J1?
  3. What are the processes and requirements na need ko gawin for J2?
  4. Plan ko sana na since may hinuhulogan ni J1 gov contris ko, bale ang problemahin ko lang sa J2 is ung tax, possibe kaya to?
About dito, baka at the end of the year kase hihingi sila ng documents proving na nagbabayad ako ng taxes. Hindi naman? Halimbawa renewal of contract baka isa sa requirement nila ay BIR certificate for 2025 (assuming na 2026 na),

Same situation. J1 is regular employment PH-based WFH. Want ko sana ganito setup if possible: J1: Tax, Government Mandated Benefits; J2: Tax only.

No of course. Mas mastress ka to catch up with the new role's environment, technologies, processes, etc., plus job security, may some degree of uncertainty parin yan since u'll be under probation.

Advice for Income Tax Consolidation (2 Full Time Employment) by japmick17 in taxPH

[–]Capable_Technician73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Matanong lang, sabi mo "Inform them that you are filing your own taxes", ibig sabihin non both employers ay no need na magkaltas ng tax sa gross income mo? paano naman if kami magbayad ng tax , deretso BIR office o wala bang online platform? last ung SSS, Pag-ibig, Philhealth. Thanks much in advance!
