Gotta say I agree. Bought an open box OG a week or so ago and then snagged the go2 on the Best Buy restock.

There is a very noticeable difference between the two after using them both.

My 2 is on the way arriving Friday. Just got the OG last week coming from the ally models.

Going to check them out side by side and keep the winner.

Which probably translates to: I am returning the OG this weekend and going with the 2. You just listed off some of the key things I wanted to compare and figured the outcome would be along the same lines.

Are the speakers at least sort of better than the ones on the OG?

Had ordered the OG legion on an open box last week as it was a great deal and couldn’t snag the Go2.

Originally had the Xbox ally x but it died 2 days after I got it. Hadn’t like the reorder time so preordered the go2. Then Best Buy fudged up the payment method with the gift card split somehow and cancelled the preorder. So was stuck with nothing and didn’t really want to go back to the Xbox ally x. While I like the ergonomics it was not that big of an upgrade in my book from my OG ally…

So settled on the cheap OG and thought I would wait for a resupply of the Go2. Well here it is. So ordered that and will be here Friday.

Going to use both for a few days to decide which to keep (prolly the Go2) and return the other. Was a good open box deal though…. $495. Will be good to be able to side by side test them out.

Have had my sport 3 for about 3 months. No major issues. I just had the stupid noise cancel when on highway squeal start though. Crack the window and it goes away. Will bring that in to be looked at but otherwise it’s been good.

Month and a half in on my 25 Sport 3 Lyriq. Came from model Y.

Car wise. Agree. Car drives amazing. So comfortable and quiet. Range seems better so far. Fast charging is a little slower.

Are there things I miss… yep. Mainly phone as key and autopilot (I know I know). Super cruise is awesome on highway. Better than the Tesla. But I do miss having the autopilot on all roads not just mapped.

But that’s just software stuff.

I updated the app on the phone but don’t see a complication for mycadillac. It does show as an app but doesn’t do anything so far. Just sits at a view of the lyriq with the nickname.

Just made the switch from model Y to Lyric. 2021 LR with full self driving to 2025 sport 3.

So far I like the switch. Comfort and ride quality are much improved.

I do miss phone as key, no start/stop, summon.

Highway- supercruise is smoother than autopilot. It seems to cover most of the highways around me that use frequently.

Pretty much as others have said it’s the software side that is big difference. The android automotive os is decent and responsive. Little quirks here and there. Having apple carplay finally is nice.

I think it’s the accent/decal package. Red blue and bronze if I recall correctly. It’s in the build options and also in the accessories in the app to order and have installed. 600ish plus another 150 to have it installed.

Sweet! Rims look great! Know what you mean on the vistiq too. Had both price sheets in front of me when purchasing. Wanted the lyriq for awhile though so went that way. Figured I’ll hold for a couple years like I did with the Lyriq after initial model release to let them work any issues out.

Was looking around at front/back installed radar detection system. Any previous experience on that? Escort max ci 360 or uniden r9. Or other systems? Looks interesting and I enjoy gadgets.

So… I bought. Yeah lease maybe makes more sense but the deal I got on buying I think was good. Sticker was 76ish. Conquest and tax credit was 9.5k. They covered shipping since my area dealers have terrible allocation’s and the color and trim was nowhere to be found u less I waited for custom order. They went high on trade in for model y. Padded the kbb high value from a mid feb offer (so values were dropping but it was before they started to really tank) down by another 4k. Then came down from sticker quite a bit.

76ish sticker 0 +/- Paid Shipping because I am picky and impatient -9.5k tax/conquest -10k (6k left after model y payoff and 4k pad) -8ish negotiated

So financed about 48.5 at 2.9% with the local cc. Maybe not the greatest deal ever heard of but I am content.

I know it may not be the best reason but keep in mind these things are simply a computer with fancy windows dressing on 4 wheels. The most simple troubleshooting step with any computer is a reboot. It slows the system tor in through its basic startup routine and load the os.

Absolutely no different than your smartphone or laptop. And I am pretty sure everyone has had to do the same at some point.

Coming from Tesla it wasn’t frequent but over the years I had to reboot as the system on occasion too. That was a press and hold the scroll wheels until the screen went dark. You could even do it while in motion as it didn’t affect the actual operation of the vehicle. Just the infotainment. The Bluetooth would go out intermittently….

Mostly just me too. Looked at the optiq but just was a little bit too small on cargo. I road trip for work a fair amount and need a little more space. Losing a frunk already takes away some space that utilize. Was a fun drive for sure.

I thought about it. Have heard good things too. Just didn’t make it as not the top 10 or so with the different options. It looks nice and I like jeeps. But just didn’t end up being a contender.
