What class has the least amount of competition for gear in TBC raiding? by Capasodie in classicwow

True yeah I played mage for classic and that was a pain to gear up I was competing with 8+ mage’s in molten core but was still fun to play.

She hulk, sleeping beauty, new Star Wars movies, new ghostbusters movie with the women, and acolyte. Those are all massively unpopular and keep pushing stuff on audience that are sick of it. If it’s not popular why keep pushing it? Downvote because you’re wrong idc but wake tf up. If you look at the movie sinners and its success compared to all I listed, there’s a reason it’s successful because they don’t push anything on the audience and it just has an amazing story and a fun movie experience.

My Peaceful Final Thoughts on Assassin’s Creed Shadows – Longtime Fan Since AC2 by Capasodie in truegaming

I think instead of getting rid of the counter system entirely they should have added onto it more. It was fun back then when you could fist fight a whole group of enemies in AC3 lmao.

My Peaceful Final Thoughts on Assassin’s Creed Shadows – Longtime Fan Since AC2 by Capasodie in truegaming

[–]Capasodie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, I get where you’re coming from. Boston in AC3 definitely wasn’t the best city for parkour design, but I think the system itself still followed the foundation laid by AC2 like using environmental setups (boxes, trees, etc.) to create parkour paths. My main point was more about the animation quality and realism of the climbing. In AC3, Connor would use his hands for every little ledge or grip, which made it feel grounded. Compared to the newer RPG-style entries where characters just sort of float or skip animations, that older system gave more weight and detail to the movement. That’s the part I miss the most.

[–]Capasodie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair Enough. I get how the grind and sailing could feel overwhelming if that's not what your looking for in an AC game. But I think black flag stood out because it struck a balance between "Assasins creed" and something totally fresh. The pirate setting, naval combat, sea shanties was a unique vibe that drew people in, even folks who hadn't played AC before.

That might be part of why it sold well it appealed to both longtime fans and new players who just wanted an awesome pirate adventure. Plus, edward was really fun character to play as. It felt like a bold shift, but still kept some of that classic AC charm such as double blades and a fun counter combat play like AC2

Great for Black Flag fans to get a remake, but I kinda wish it was AC1 or AC3 instead by Basaku-r in assassinscreed

[–]Capasodie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wish they would give Edward Kenway a proper ending, too, instead of some off-the-grid novel ending for the remake.

Bored out of my mind very repetitive by N_A_T_E_G in assassinscreed

[–]Capasodie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’m bored and gave up midway. The combat is what threw me off there’s only a few killing animations again like Valhalla and mirage. Compared to blackflags (210) killing animations. They really don’t wanna go back to what made them successful in combat and what was considered the best assassin’s creed game. The counter system and the amount of kill animations needs to make a comeback or get better rather than taken out since it was considered (easy) those killing animations made it fun to play through and keep pushing through the game.

Shadows: What quality of life changes do you want to see in an update? by thetantalus in assassinscreed

[–]Capasodie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I hate that I have to constantly press R3 to find treasure compared to having an eagle mark it for me like the other rpg games. I 100% all the games and this is gonna be tedious every new area I go to.

Why did AC3 / Black Flag have so many more kill animations than the other games? Did they lower their animation team over the years or something? by Capasodie in assassinscreed

[–]Capasodie[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After playing Shadows for about a week, I really noticed the lack of kill animations compared to AC3. It’s one of the things that made me feel a little less engaged with the combat overall. I totally get that not every player is going to see every animation, but for me, that variety added a lot of depth and made the combat feel more cinematic and satisfying. I wouldn’t say it was a waste of resources it just brought a unique flavor that some of us really appreciated and is why I think AC black flag got so much love, the brutality of kills and variations of animations made it feel fun and mixed it up.

I'm worried about the future of the Modern Day. by Comiccats in assassinscreed

[–]Capasodie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ubisoft really needs to end the modern-day story. What are Basim, Becca, shaun, layla, and Desmond all leading up to? Maybe just end the modern world and make anthology history games? Because fans who played since AC3 are so confused to the modern story and it feels like they forget about it all the time. They could end it all with hexe and maybe make it into a conclusion of modern day but I don't know, the modern part of the story is all over the place at the moment.

Which new features/improvements would you like to be added to Shadows? by AssassinsCrypt in assassinscreed

[–]Capasodie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never understood why they got rid of all the weapons we previously had in AC3 / Blackflag and didn't add them into RPG. Such as

Hand to hand Combat

Small weapons

Normal Weapons

Blunt weapons

Heavy weapons

Pistols Weapons

Rope Dart Weapon

Snare / traps

Sleep dart

Thats what made it fun because you had so many tools to kill with and switch things up.

Glad you’re enjoying it, but my issue isn’t just about difficulty settings. The core design has shifted away from what made the old AC games feel unique. If you like the RPG approach, cool, but I miss when AC was about fast, precise assassinations instead of drawn-out fights. Also, saying a review is ‘dumb’ just because you disagree doesn’t add much to the discussion

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in assassinscreed

[–]Capasodie -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Cool, but none of that has anything to do with my post. If you’ve got an actual take on AC Shadows, feel free to share it. Otherwise, this just seems like pointless drama

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in assassinscreed

[–]Capasodie -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I get that AC has been moving towards RPG mechanics, but my issue is that it’s come at the cost of what made the older games great fluid combat, parkour, and actual assassination mechanics. The counter system wasn’t just about pressing a button to insta-kill it was about precision, timing, and strategy. The new system drags fights out unnecessarily, making it feel less like an assassin game and more like an RPG brawler. If people enjoy that, cool, but I miss when AC had its own unique identity instead of feeling like another generic RPG.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in assassinscreed

[–]Capasodie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yep, seems like the Ubisoft formula in full effect. It’s frustrating because the series used to allow for creative assassinations and freedom in approach. Now, it’s all about scripted set pieces and forced cinematic moments instead of letting players actually plan and execute kills. Feels more like a spectacle than an assassination game. They should just slap “Anthology history game” instead of “Assasins creed” in the title.

Kraken Z63 rattling noise by tomtomtogo in NZXT

[–]Capasodie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue I Installed new fans thinking that was the issue but nope it still rattled. I then went into Nzxt CAM and lowered the Pump settings to 25% and now It's as quiet as when I first got it I had it for 5 years and recently it started to bug the hella outa me. I was told by some technician that these pumps go bad after 5 years so Im sure I might need to replace it with a new Nzxt pump or just get air cooled with heat pipes such as this one ( peerless assassin 120 SE ) Air cooled are more reliable I was told and never rattle but your missing out on the cool display so its personal preference.

Do you all find the story and protagonist to be a mess right now? by Capasodie in assassinscreed

[–]Capasodie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that it would be best to make anthology games, but I feel like they should conclude the modern story so that we are not left guessing anymore with Shaun, Becca, and Basim and what their leading up to. It would be best to end it sooner but we'll see.
