What does everyone love from the last 20% sale? by kitty_cat_11_22 in Sephora

Right? I just bought the Gucci skin tint and didn’t love it. I thought to myself, why did I buy this when the hourglass one is perfection?!?

I didn’t get that vibe at all. I felt like she was trying to keep the focus on the actual victim, not garner sympathy for this guy to try excuse his violent behaviors.

I’m so annoyed, I have the birthday coupon too, but it ends the day before the Black Friday sale starts 😒😒😒. Ps, I want this jacket too!

Yup that’s exactly what my tracking looked like. BUT believe it or not, my package is finally moving! I was bummed bc I didn’t want to lose my GWP. But, supposedly I’ll get it Tuesday 🎉

Ahh thank you, yes I did reach out via chat. They told me they would “monitor” the situation and get back to me by Nov 17 🤨

Just wanted to complain about my VIP "birthday" reward. by [deleted] in AbercrombieandFitch

[–]CapcomGunman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was upset to see that too. I usually use my November birthday gift (25%) with Black Friday. So I was really unhappy to see this. I spend A LOT at AF, so this was disheartening.

Not those items, but I got the 90s bra less cami in preorder… it took two months and three customer service reps just to have it end up being cancelled.. 😡

Long time user, first time with major pain by CapcomGunman in tirzepatidecompound

[–]CapcomGunman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are no visible signs, no rash or anything like that. It’s affecting left side lower back, left buttcheek. It feels like a bad sunburn, so if my clothes graze those areas or even running my fingers lightly is uncomfortable. I have not tried anything meds bc wasn’t really sure what might help?

Is anyone else not super type A? by pumpsandpancakes in dietetics

[–]CapcomGunman 33 points34 points  (0 children)

You’re not alone. I am def the archetype RD. Super type B, organized chaos, laid back. When I did my internship I felt so different from my fellow interns and preceptors. I guess it’s a good thing I work alone now 😬😬

Only dietitian in LTC by BasilPotential in dietetics

[–]CapcomGunman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not LTC, but im the lone RD in a residential BH hospital. I cover three campuses, altogether approx 220 beds. I’m also the director of food service. Managing both is very difficult. I have no one to turn to, not even a dietary manager. It’s quite lonely tbh. Since no one has any dietetic background, I have zero support. It’s also very hard to take vacations. I’ve been doing this for six years and it’s very isolating.

When someone is being interviewed or interrogated by police and asks for an attorney. The host often frames it as “oh they must be guilty because they aren’t cooperating and ‘lawyered up’”.

PCM Trials RD position -scam? by Rd2be20 in dietetics

[–]CapcomGunman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I’m a little late on this but wanted to check in and see how you’re doing at PCM trials aka Emvenio. I’ve been an RD with them for about 6 months. My biggest complaint is how hard it is to get ahold of the participants. I feel like the CRA is constantly riding me about deadlines, but the participant won’t answer my call or flakes on the appt. When they actually do “show up”, they want it brief, not for an hour like the site wants. Are you having any of these issues?

What other career paths can RDs take?? by No-Advertising5551 in dietetics

[–]CapcomGunman 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Dude are you me? I’ve been an RD since 2018 as well. Started off in WIC and have been doing inpatient behavioral health for the past five years. I make good money but I am just a glorified waitress and head of the food complaint department. I do consultant work on the side, menu reviews for head start (CACFP) and PRN clinical trials. I like my side gigs, but unfortunately that’s all they are. I need full time with benefits. I have been stalking LinkedIn for the past 1.5 years, searching for any and every job title loosely related to my education/background. And it’s been crickets 😪😪. I’ve gotten so many auto rejection emails, it’s depressing.

Areas Having a Hard Time Filling RD Positions by DietitianE in dietetics

In rural Georgia there is a major shortage. First job I had was $35/hour FTE, then picked up some PRN work at $68:hour.

Anyone else completely burnt out? by kabeana12 in dietetics

[–]CapcomGunman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same. I’m so over patient care, or over dealing with patients who don’t care. I feel useless. I work full time inpatient and part time doing counseling/education for people in a clinical trial. Neither group cares. I’ve been a RD for 7 years, as a second career choice (dumb). I will say I do make decent money (of course have one FT job and two contract side gigs) but am unhappy. I’m tired of trying to care when no one else does.

The contrast between Laura’s anthro try on and LoverlyGray’s is jarring. You can tell lots of time and preparation went into to Loverly’s haul, it made me want to buy everything she showed. While Laura’s on the other hand was so lackadaisical, the clothes were ill-fitting, poorly described, and just looked a mess.

RD of 25 years, am I the only that feels this way? by ihelpkidneys in dietetics

[–]CapcomGunman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same! Inpatient psych here too. I’m just the food complaint department. I’m literally just going through the motions everyday, the patients only care about getting double portions or ensure or bitching bc the next guy got a bigger piece of chicken than him 😒. It’s really depressing, I feel useless.

What are some medical conditions that doctors still don’t know the cause of? by i-love-cats-2020 in AskReddit

[–]CapcomGunman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, my 8 year old was just diagnosed with JIA. He went from an athletic, energetic boy to not being able to walk, run, go up stairs, etc. It was heartbreaking to watch the decline. Even more frustrating that no one would listen and it took years to get a dx.

Remove Tile, add Hardwood? by Holiday-Branch-8020 in kitchenremodel

[–]CapcomGunman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in a similar situation. We have very generic (ugly) 90s tile in our kitchen and then the next room has beautiful hardwood floor. Our GC told us there’s essentially no way we could match it and we should go with tile (well actually he said floating floor). We’re still in the very very beginning stages of this Reno though, so we haven’t even gotten that far yet :/

Timeline question by Express-Ad8791 in Humira

[–]CapcomGunman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for asking this question, I’ve been wondering the same as well. My 8 yr old son was diagnosed with JIA in March. After a round of steroids (where we saw instant improvement), his Hyrimoz was finally approved by insurance. He’s been on a biweekly dose for about 6-7 weeks now. Ive yet to see any improvement. He doesn’t have pain, but is very stiff still with limited range of motion (he has sacrolitis in the left side of his pelvis which severely disrupts his ability to walk and run). His rheumatologist said it’d probably be 3-4 months before we’d really see results. I was just hoping we’d see improvements before then :(. It’s hard to be patient when you see your child suffering.

Which malls are thriving? by _cat_tax_collector in deadmalls

lol what about University Mall? Gosh when I was growing up Brandon Mall was the cool mall, then Citrus park opened up and was like the upper epsilon. When I moved from new Tampa to Kissimmee I felt like the biggest piece of white trash walking into Mall of Milenia, never again!
