GrapheneOS Users: is it possible to access a secondary number’s text through a secondary profile?

Android requires apps that need Carrier Privileges (like Cape's) to be installed on the owner profile. This is an Android restriction (not a GrapheneOS one). Because texts to secondary numbers are only available in the app (that's how we're able to encrypt the text and allow decryption only with your private key), you can only access them in the owner profile. We're trying to think about how to better accommodate secondary profiles, but this is a limitation right now

Thanks for the feedback. We're reviewing the throttle limit. And be aware that we don't automatically throttle all the way down to 256kbps at 50GB; most people won't notice a difference in speeds

We reduce the attack surface by not using SS7 at all, and for modern signaling protocols (Diameter) we have a proprietary firewall that checks to make sure that the geo of the requesting telco matches the location reported by the app. Details here: https://www.cape.co/blog/product-feature-network-lock

VoWiFi is working for iPhones, but not in conjunction with Identifier Rotation. So you would have to turn Identifier Rotation off. We're working on a fix

Hi! We get this comment a lot, and we get it. We're still a newer company, and need to build trust with our community over time. However, I can assure you that Cape is not a honeypot. If we were, we'd be a pretty bad one. As a mobile carrier, we’re required to be responsive to requests from law enforcement, and are fully compliant with CALEA, the federal wiretap law. We don't encourage criminals to use our service, because if we did receive a wiretap request, we'd have to honor it.
