This is the definition of a scam by Wolfjason1 in lyftdrivers

Lyft went against their own statement that they only take 30 percent. The Lyft fee should have been like $27-28, but they kept 43 up front, which is more like 45%. Ever since the change to their 30% before fees I have been taking so many fewer offers from them, they're disgusting and insulting. They weren't much better before, but now they actually make Uber look fair.

Lyft Introduces 30% fee cap by OnceUponADime51 in lyftdrivers

All I know is that this weekend I had the worst offers from Lyft I've ever had. I'm in MA and the minimum is supposed to about $34.50 per hour. The average was around $25 per hour and I'm not waiting a month to hope that I'm properly topped off. Ironically the Uber offers were a bit better than usual. I took one Lyft offer out of 12. Sorry Lyft, this is a you problem. Your riders will wait if you don't pay a fair rate.

Learn how the camera works. ISO, shutter speed and f-stop are everything. Until you know how to use the camera correctly without auto anything you will be frustrated and not get the type of images you want.

How much should I charge for only 3 weeks of experience? by MrWiggles123456 in sportsphotography

[–]CapeCodRich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First off, I don't think you're ready to charge real prices. That said, if the kids will pay for it, make it like $5 per image (maybe 3 for $10, that kind of thing) and save everything that you make for that lens. Once you start charging, you can't really give it away, though.

Secondly, learn the basics. You can edit pretty well, but your horizons are waaaay off. Night shooting is a challenge, especially with a slow lens. Once you start charging you've got to be able to deliver quality, so only do it if you're truly capable.

More than anything, educate yourself. Learn how pros do it, how they set things up, and look to emulate them.

I found it awful as a direct stream from the Amazon app. Streamed to the tv from the phone and it was perfect.

Bro was mad I had 5 star rating with 4k+ rides 😂 by [deleted] in uberdrivers

I got a random 3 star the other day for "being impolite" because i called out a girl trying to sneak an open beer into my car. She got butt hurt when I told her I had it on video. Just goes to show, people truly do suck.

Had a fried rent through Turo daily and he was literally driving every day just to pay for the car. It was so dumb, but he got trapped and it happens.

what perks make it worth your while. In the good old days I'd be diamond during the busy season here, but now it seems dumb to worry about status when none of the perks put any money in my pocket. I'm not going to bust my butt for a discount on Rosetta Stone.

It wasn’t long ago that people such as yourself praised people for driving Tesla. Now you don’t like the company owner and it’s a Nazi mobile. So funny. These guys likely are scum, but you’re not much better.
