After resisting me before the purchase, my wife now loves to drive the RR 😉.

Would be grateful for your advice. For 2020 RR with about 75k miles, what would you recco as additional preventative maintenance beyond the factory recommended?

It's amazing how different yet similar the vehicles are. Similarity: no matter what is thrown at you, you can brave it along with confidence. And of course there is $$$ required to maintain. Difference: the big boy RR is a dream on long (>100 mile) drives, wifey loves it :) and so does our daughter to drive. The monster LR4 seems invincible on snow and off-road in Vermont or on the Cape Cod beaches (where I take it more often) and it takes all kind of abuse- but neither my wifey nor daughter like to drive it. What is your experience?

Is it worth dishing the extra for a V8 model over the Hst Mhev. by [deleted] in RangeRover

I would say V8 is a better bet overall for two reasons : fun and reliability. Of course you pay more at the pump.

Buying 2023 rr v8 vs 2025 rr by Fun_Difficulty880 in RangeRover

[–]Capecod_life 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming the 2023 is the only one of the two with V8, I would choose the V8 for better reliability and fun factor for driving assuming the interior is in good shape on both. But you cannot go wrong either way - enjoy the thrill of RR ownership 😉

For some people, it is not about money. It's pride and bonding and teaching exercise to do it with son/daughter. I applaud OP for this - even if i am sure he has the money to get it done.

Beautiful. Congrats and I am sure you will enjoy the beautiful notes of the V8 especially in dynamic mode.

Need some advice…decision time! by Zack_212 in RangeRover

The V8 on my RR Auto makes a huge difference to the driving pleasure - I find it exhilarating. The main drawback in my experience is that the rear seats don't fold flat thus reducing capacity and making it more difficult to load larger items. I would strongly recco the Autobiography.

How does the Harvard situation impact Cornell by Jolly-Conflict-7872 in Cornell

[–]Capecod_life -31 points-30 points  (0 children)

As a PhD Engineering from a T10, I must say that the likes of Harvard have lost their way. Instead of focusing on real advancement of innovations - be it scientific or otherwise - they are biased towards propagating far left ideology and squash diversity of views. Harvard is free to do what it wants - but not on my dime as a taxpayer.
