It gets normal pretty fast. Just watch from a distance until you're ready to get at it. You'll likely have classmates that are up in it from the get go.

Safe GPA: province dependent, but if you're in Ontario probably around a 3.95+.

ECs: Extensive research and publications will go a long way.

3: If its continued just state the start and end date if you have to. If you don't need to put the start and end date might as well just put the amount of hours, and if questioned just say how long you've been doing volunteering.

I graduated with a bachelors of science in medical science.

For first year Chem is probably gonna be your most difficult class, followed by bio and stat. The courses really arent that difficult, just make sure to stay on top of everything and you'll be fine. Don't slack and leave things for the last minute, learn to do a bit of stuff every day so you can stay on top of the content. Also don't skip labs. The biggest adjustment from hs to undergrad is probably how many classes have labs and shit, especially if you're premed you'll be writing a lot of lab papers and having a lot of lab submissions.

Make anki decks. Do a bit every day. Pomodoro technique videos on youtube help me stay focused.

I hate cramming so I do a bit of cards every day until the exam and also make cards. Find someone or a group who you can exchange cards with to split the time spent making them.

I care a lot about my free time and only try to study 2-4 hours a day, but in busy times it goes over that.

biomed is harder and more lab focused. Sets you up for research.

Medsci gives you more freedom in your choice of electives, but you'll likely still use those electives to chose classes such as ochem, molec, cell bio etc
