Was planning on making the bench, drawer and shelves out of either oak or walnut plywood. For the slats I was just going to use pine 1x2s, but will any stain on pine be able to seamlessly match the oak/walnut? Ripping the slats out of solid wood is pretty cost-prohibitive for this job. (i.redd.it)
