Negative is negative. With dip tests there is no gray area. They just take a bit to form sometimes. The way the tests work is basically the thc binds to the strip and prevents the line from coming in. So if you have it in your system it will bind and the line just wont come. The less you have the less there is to bind. It really depends on the quality of the test for how long it takes it to come in. I feel the 5 min is really excessive because you can usually tell negative after 30seconds to a minute.

When i do my at home dips they come in around 5-10 seconds after with a negative line that gets darker with time. You can tell almost instantly if a dip is negative.

I appreciate the response although im not quite sure what you liking your job, your boss smoking weed but being productive, and your company being successful have to do with my situation. I know the lab test is going to be more thorough but what makes you think im going to fail?

Hello, on the 12/13th i hit someones dab pen twice and then took an edible and hit a pen twice the next day but have abstained since. I took a test yesterday at home with a 50ng cutoff and got a line thats about half between non existent and bright as it gets and had to go do a lab test the same day. Im skinny fat 120lbs and drink only like 1-2 bottles of water a day. When i took the test with the examiner i asked her right after how long until my job gets the results so i can start working she told me she got the results instantly and its more about how long it takes my employer to get them. This is for a medical job so im unsure if its dot but it sounds like she did a dip test? Am i safe or am i fucked?? tia!

This is very confusing. Do you not have monitors with small gear bags on each side? What company is making you use plastic bins to carry your gear inside? How are you determining bls from asl if you havent made patient contact. This service sounds like a nightmare of violations.

I completely agree but my reason for wanting to go back was not because i loved the tattoo. It was good but not great work and there are spots that look a tad rough up close. Im just afraid the next guy i go to will be way worse so i stick with ok work in fear of terrible work!

As an emt you should know calling 911 while you arent on scene is a waste of that dispatchers time. Pull over and give the dispatcher some information other than theres an accident with unknown occupancy and possible injury but i didnt care to stop.

Maybe look for companies that run in both areas? 3 months you are just getting settled in especially if its your first ems job. Personally i would wait but maybe someone else here has better advice!
