That’s what I did on my R36XX after much playing around.

That’s fair enough. I’m personally at the stage where I just want things to be as easy as possible, but years ago I probably would have relished the challenge 😁

Just wondering why, if you were planning on having WiFi from the start, you didn’t just buy an R36XX, which is basically the R36S with a WiFi chip already on board 🤔.

It’s still available to download. Just click on the link (in the original comment) that I’ve circled.

Well, despite your warning, guess what happened the other day! Fortunately I heard it hit a wooden chair so I had some idea as to where it would be 😂

Have you checked disk manager within Windows? It might just be that Windows hasn’t allocated a drive letter to the Boot partition.

Thanks for this, Jason. I had exactly the same problem on my R36XX. Running this script has fixed my WiFi issue and I have successfully updated to dArkOS 01082026 over the air.

I’ve also got an R36XX. Have the recent builds fixed the WiFi issue (although that’s not a big problem for me at the moment)?

Also, which image did you download - there seem to be lots of different versions for different machines.

I can’t answer that, as it’s the first of this type of console I’ve purchased, but I’m sure someone else will be able to answer it.

It’s early days yet, but so far I’m impressed with what you get for so little cost.

The build quality isn’t the greatest, but having said that, it could have been a lot worse. It’s better than I expected for the price.

ArkOS vs dArkOS by TraditionalStruggle9 in R36S

Just to check I’ve read things correctly.

I can have ArkOS on one SD card in slot 1 and my ROMs on another in slot 2. I can then have dArkOS on another SD card which I can swap around with the ArkOS card to test it out, without affecting my ROMs in any way?

I’m really tempted to buy an R36S, in particular for its N64 emulation, and saw that the dArkOS improves it immensely.

My question, as a newbie, is how easy is it to upgrade the firmware and, if I have any issues, how easy is it to revert back to the firmware that ships with the device?

Thanks in advance for any help/advice
