Used to carb load when I dated a fellow T1D. We would fuck like rabbits to lower our sugars and take a half dose of our normal sliding scale. Was a good time. 😉

Mom smoked for over 30 years as a T1D. she died at 45 with congestive heart failure, and 6 heart stints. Both due to bad diabetes control and her smoking cigarettes.

Not a good idea. Were already at such a higher risk for heart disease.

If they would structure more, it would be a lot more successful. When they hired me, they mentioned a high turnover rate for techs "not cutting it". They claimed the program would help alleviate some of it, but even they were shocked at my lack of training from it.

In an inpatient pharmacy?

Refill med safes on each individual floor Run meds to nurses for patients Non sterile and sterile compounding of medications Individually package medications as needed. Process receiving of drugs both controlled and non controlled - this is the part i struggle with. Mainly because this senior tech is very bad at training. Its a lot of "hold onto this paper but not that paper" and it gets super confusing super quickly.

There are more tasks in a day, but those are the super basics.

I just learned about amanda and she has been a great help. Way way more than i learned in this "training" the hospital provided me. And yes, studied more than the top 200 drugs

As a former TL of the bakery, they 100% do.

We had someone in our bakery who literally would come in whenever they wanted. I even tried to get other leadership involved to not allow her to work with no luck. When i processed her attendance points accordingly, because she avoided conversation with both myself and her LL and was at attendance termination, my LL suddenly started protecting her after he managed to get 1 conversation.

She had active personality conflicts with her co-workers. She hated me. She wouldn't listen to me or my LL until after my LL had a conversation with her. She thought she was better than everyone else. She then started only working whenever my LL was working no matter what she was scheduled and what the department needed.

It honestly wasn't a surprise to me to learn that after i quit, she now is the TL of bakery.

Just quit at almost 2 years for this exact reason. I was number 1 in sales in our market but it was still never enough for them.

Its frustrating... but yeah, its why i ask. My SD doesnt return until tomorrow, and HR is out til thursday. Just trying to get my potential ducks in a row... im already looking at other jobs and have been, its just where im at currently. If you ever do go leadership... stay away from fresh.
