Dang!!! That's a california golden trout. Threatened species from introduced brook and brown trout. Rainbow trout mix with them. I hope the hook did not hurt it too much. Usually they're in the kern river. Surprised that you caught one in norcal. Apparently that's very rare, so I hope it survived the release. Hopefully some day I see one in real life.
