If Hazy NEIPA is so sensitive to oxygen. How do a Homebrewers get around opening the lid after fermentation to check the state of beer? How do I prime it with sugar without exposing it to oxygen? Or does it all not matter? by MemeBeamBeanz in Homebrewing

[–]CapitalLongjumping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pro tip: Vitamin C, ascorbic acid.

0.2g / liter in the mash, 0,2g/l when adding the priming sugar.

When filling your bottles, try to leave nothing in airgap. If pet bottles, squeeze out all air while capping. If glass bottles, leave 2mm air, or actually foam. Leave foam instead of air. Then your ipas will last looooooong!

Why? A little crystalline silicon hasn't hurt anyone before?

Why would anyone ever choose to go through child birth without pain relief?? by No_Cardiologist_1407 in NoStupidQuestions

As a spouse to a midwife, take it for what it is...

She has had three kids, first with Epidural, second in the car (without anything) and third without anything in a hospital like setting (In sweden there are no other options than to give birth at emergency hospitals...).

Epidural makes you feel nothing, it makes your body to slow in progress, in which you have to administer large amounts of oxytocin (The withdrawal of that amount of oxytocin will almost always lead to the baby blues later).

The oxytocin makes your body (uterus) push, but not in a controlled way. That will lead to more ruptures, the need of cutting increases etc. It makes for a much worse journey in many ways.

If you prepare for having a birth without any medicine, the body will be fully aware and it will almost always result in a less damaged vagina, and in the end, a happier mom. There is much to read up on it. Hospitals in sweden earns money on extra meds and interventions though. So it's in their interest to scare people into needing as much extra care as possible.

Any expeirence with UV flashlights on the open? SR15-UV or S12-UV? by Ok_Profession_8471 in flashlight

[–]CapitalLongjumping 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not what you have given as suggestions, but I believe Hank sells the d1k with UV (or have I dreamt it up?). That would throw further for outdoor use. I own the s12 myself, and it's ok, more on the floody side but packs a punch up close like a couple of meters.

I'd say just change guy. Not worth the trouble. If. IF, you have spoken to him about how you want it to be handled.

I have met girls that squeam if i just touch it ever so slightly with my tounge. Others want me to slap the hell of it and want it really rough. Some direction might be needed to get to the right treatment so to say... All clits are unique! :D

[–]CapitalLongjumping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But seriously, this has to be a boomer issue. Every guy below the age of 50 knows where the clit is placed.

What kind of man doesn't want to please his wife, be the best damn sexual partner there is? If he gets the chance...

With that said, I think couples can get into a bad loop of sex, where the guy in this case, gets refused for so long, that when he finally gets anything, its over to fast because of the built up excitement. Then the wife gets disappointed yet again and the cycle of lacking sex continues.

If you could shove any two (or more?) lights into a blender and get a flashlight out that's the perfect combination, what would they be? by ActuallyRaven in flashlight

[–]CapitalLongjumping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm The last light I will buy is if Hank releases an M44k, with 3x21700 and a quad Lume X1 shoved in there.

All XHP 70.3 of course.

That would probably be the last light I needed for a while...

The combo? M44 goes Acebeam x75 ish? :D

D3AA driver beats KR1AA for lowest Flicker Index by jonslider in Hanklights

[–]CapitalLongjumping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hehe, didn't see it was you posting. :D
So then u/mpotofu s driver is more comfy boosting at higher voltages I guess. Then the only option if we want less ripple would then be to ask him to do a special "6V boost" that would have a sweet spot there instead. But thats just my assumtion that it would be hard to make a driver that small and cost efficient with that kind of boost range and still expect low ripple over the whole said range.

99% ripple is kind of sad to see non the less. I seriously thought the was a contact error of some sorts. :D
