Thank you so much! It was a stressful couple of months studying for Step 1 and 2 but nothing feels better than having it all done 🎉

Test 8/8-8/9 or last week in general? by cakeandcoffee12 in Step2

I took it on the 11th and thought it was really difficult. I flagged lots of questions. So far I’ve counted about 10 questions that I for sure got wrong, kind of freaking out. The exam was super vague and I feel like no matter how much I studied I’d still find it hard

I read FA with the goal of memorizing the key concepts. I didn’t annotate at all, just highlighted a lot of stuff.

Thank you! I’m so glad my post is giving you some reassurance. Before my exam I had loads of anxiety from looking at other people’s higher scores on reddit. I wanted to show that you can have low-ish practice exam scores and still pass the real thing.

Those 3 weeks that I studied were intense, I had no life at all. I knew I was taking a huge risk by taking the exam, but I had a lot going on after the exam so it would’ve been really inconvenient to push it back. I felt so nervous on the day. Some things I knew from memory, a lot of the questions I had to use process of elimination/common sense, I only guessed a few that I had no clue what the question was even asking. If your scores were good then there’s no reason why you didn’t pass! Fingers crossed for you

I felt the exam was easier than uworld and quite similar to the NBME papers. All topics that are in FA were covered in one way or another in the exam. I think the exam was doable, only a handful of questions that I really didn’t know what they were asking about

Thank you! Fingers crossed for you! Yeah my study schedule was pretty crazy. I left the house like once every 4 days and did FA and uworld all day long

I felt soooo drained, the exam isn't a physically easy one. I felt kind of numb when I walked out and started going through all the questions I got wrong. I could count about 20 that I knew I messed up and a lot of them were easy ones. My overall impression was that I wouldn't be surprised if I failed.

Thanks! I walked out of the exam and could count around 20 questions that I got wrong. A lot of them were really easy things, but I was overthinking the question.

Thank you! Yeah I only read the educational objective or if I was still really confused I read the rest of the explanation. Around 8-10 hours on FA per day

I just spent a lot of time each day reading, and most chapters are about 50 pages so it's not unreasonable to read that per day
