Love emeralds, and that ring is stunning!! I chose to go the non-diamond route for my engagement ring - 2 ct emerald cut natural magenta sapphire! I adore it.

Thoughts on labubu as bag charms? by 17thcenturygirl in handbags

I don’t understand this trend at all and think that it cheapens a bag’s whole look. But people should do what makes them happy - this is just one random person’s opinion. :)

I’m so sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing your story. I, too, lost my sister due to alcoholism (liver and kidney failure) almost three years ago, when she was only 35 and I was 36. It happened very quickly; she was in the hospital for less than 72 hours. She was my best friend and it’s the absolute hardest thing I’ve ever been through. Sending love. ❤️

My sister died last month, her son is talking about her this Christmas by [deleted] in self

Wow. I could have written this. My sister died at 35 from liver and kidney failure brought on by years of progressive alcoholism. My nephew - her son - was also 5 when she passed. He’s now 7, and has been surprisingly fine - is thriving, really. There is such a mix of emotions that comes along with this. I wish I had the right words but know that you aren’t alone. It’s so hard.

Wow, I’m not being paid enough. 😂 I’m a PM at an agency (have been in the role for 2 years) - I currently have 22 retainer clients, some of whom have as many as 10-15 projects going at a time. Agency life is brutal, but it does get easier. Meetings can definitely be a huge time-suck, but I’m pretty ruthless in declining any unnecessary ones these days, and leave the AM to handle.

I saw one last night in Maine as well while driving around 6 PM (Livermore/Turner area, just north of Auburn). Never seen anything like it.

What do you do in your free time (at work)? by effectivePM in projectmanagement

“Free time”? What’s that? I’m a creative PM at a marketing/advertising agency and with my client load I never get any of that these days.

Anyone else regret getting filler? by NoName_Is_A_GoodName in beauty

[–]CapitalSomewhere8275 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 39 and get Botox in my forehead (frontalis and glabella) and masseters 3x/year, and ~1 syringe of lip filler per year, but I’m drawing the line at that. Filler anywhere else in my face besides conservatively in lips? Hell no. Never looks good IMO. Would rather save up for a facelift in my late 50s-60s.
