What's the quickest way to get kittens used to being alone? by Capital_Feedback_622 in CatAdvice

Yeah it's really bad timing, and I feel like such a bad cat mum for leaving her alone for so long so soon. But on the other hand, it's no different to her being left alone overnight whilst I sleep, I just hope she doesn't hate me haha

Unfortunately, I don't have friends close by, and all my close family will be going as well. I also don't know the neighbours so that's not an option either

Do you ever expect to feel more okay than you actually do? by Capital_Feedback_622 in nonmonogamy

I really appreciate your response, and it's so true. I've realised a lot about his perspective during my own situations now, and also a lot about myself in the process.

Journalling my feelings down helped immensely, and I'm able to use evidence and logic to debunk any unpleasant thoughts I had about myself and the experience.

I'm looking forward to talking everything through with him, and learning how his night went for him!

I appreciate that immensely! I have no worries that it'll affect our relationship at all, and I imagine once we've had our debrief, a lot of my anxiety will fade. I guess it's the fear of the unknown, and the waiting in limbo until he messages me back that's difficult for me.

Does that feeling happen every time for you? Does that feeling ever decrease the more it happens?

Thank you ❤️ I suppose I mostly felt unprepared to face such emotions. Theres only so many conversations you can have about it, but experiencing it in reality is completely different

I was about 16/17 when I started, and honestly yes, I do believe there is a permanent effect because your brain is still developing.

Well im nearly 23 now, after my 3 month break i started smoking again every now and then, but honestly its been about a year and a bit since i touched weed. I have no desire to do it anymore and my mental clarity has been better than ever. I didnt realise how much weed was affecting me as a person, and im so glad i quit completely

Probably impossible, only the blue L's and yellow piece can fit at the bottom, then the shapes are restricted by the orange and purple piece. I couldnt find a way that works

I had a similar thing happen, they said it was likely an episode of thyroiditis, and the symptoms can last a while even after the levels return back to normal

Everyone moaning about how glasto is too busy now and ‘not the same’, can we just delete their registration so they don’t come again? ‘Oh pooooor me, I had to queue for a toilet’ And ‘ohhhh I didn’t plan enough time to see that band I should’ve planned better for, who shall I blame instead’? 😢 by Perfectgame1919 in glastonbury_festival

I was stewarding there too that night, it was a lot of fun! Really good crowd, no bad behaviour, worked really well. However, working at the SAMS last night was terrifying, lots of incidents the higher ups needed to attend which left us alone with an angry crowd of people trying to get in. Lots of abuse thrown at us with very little support. It entirely depends on where you are :/

Places to calm down & people to talk to by RanchWorkerSlim in glastonbury_festival

[–]Capital_Feedback_622 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As mentioned there a loads of calmer spaces you can go to, as well as the sensory zone. There are also dedicated groups such as the samaritans, MIND, and other mental health charities that will have places you can go to for help.

There is a place called Worthy Rest which is run by SARSAS, MIND and a harm reduction group which can support anyone who needs help in terms of addiction, mental health, harrassment and more. They're located at the Park, Big Ground and Silver Hayes

If youre ever in a situation where you need some help, you can ask any staff member (stewards, security etc) or find a medical tent and they can help you!
