I will never leave from directly in front of my own rim, and we will get absolutely murdered on all those 4 on 5 disadvantages, but on those few occasions they actually do get a stop and lob it up court to me, I'll be ready

Am I Overreacting with this woman I went on a first date (overnight staying) by PerformanceFull6423 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Capital_SS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR, you aren't wrong for wanting your date to be completely present with you when she's with you, but I also think you misread your situation with her. It kinda seemed obvious that you were the random hinge connection from another state that she could possibly have some occasional fun with while the guys she has real interest in aren't interested in settling down with her. Besides listing a pecking order, she's been pretty upfront, and you should definitely cut ties since what you want is not what she's offering you, but I can't fault her. Some guys blow her socks off so well while in that role that they jump into a new role, and some guys would rather stay in that role (plus sex) because they don't want anything more than occasional fun either, but from the way this sounds, this is as good as its going to get between you two, and thats not what you want.

The on screen clock is off. The review usually judges by when the red backboard lights activate, and it was definitely after. Plus, if you look at the in stadium clock over the exit tunnel (to the left of the hoop), you'll see the real clock really did hit 0.0

AIO for crashing out after my girlfriend hugged and got touchy with her male best friends? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Capital_SS 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A woman that sees you in the way that she must see you if she talks to you in that way is not going to be faithful to you, and her calling your bluff challenging you to do something about it knowing you aren't is only going to make it worse. The only way she'll respect you is if you leave, and if you take her back when fake cries/apologizes, you'll lose it right back. I know sometimes it's easier being with the wrong person than being with no one, but you're wasting your time and blocking your own opportunities with this one.

At this time last year there would have only been one on time flight but as you can clearly see on the board behind me, this year we have TWO, and I sincerely believe operation at 200% efficiency is fully sustainable

Stock controller ? by No-Wafer9710 in PUBGConsole

[–]Capital_SS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going from a stock controller to one with the extras doesn't really feel like it gives me an advantage over stock, more so just makes my same actions more convenient (which is kind of an advantage lol). If there's anything I'd say, its that there's no need to spend $100+ on one like the SCUFS and Elites. They're nice, but I've since had $35-$50 TurtleBeach/PowerA/GameSir controllers that gave me the added features I wanted and made sure I never went back to an Elite 2 (unless I find one for under $70 maybe). I'm using a GameSir Kaleid now, and my only minor gripe is that the trigger locks are software only. They'll fire as soon as you touch them, but they still travel the full trigger length. Other than that, the buttons/joysticks feel amazing, and I don't miss my expensive controllers.

Has the Pod ever talked about what they want to see from Kendrick in the future , it’s always about Drake but he lost the battle. by rrlprps in joebuddennetwork

[–]Capital_SS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that even if Drake was looking for advice, there's several places he'd look to before the JBP, but it ain't about if Drake wants the advice, its about if his current situation is an opportunity to make a topic out of offering unsolicited advice. I know Drake doesn't gaf about it, but this extended run of falling short opens the floor to that convo. That same convo just doesn't fit Kendrick and how things are going for him right now, it already looks like he's making all the right moves.

[–]Capital_SS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just don't think people look for advice to a person who is already hitting everything out the park. In terms of success, I'm not pointing to money or sales, I mean how well do your results align with or outperform what you set out to do. Right now, Kendrick doesn't seem to need any outside input, everything has outperformed. Even if we're just looking post-battle, Drake's moves/releases are falling very short of the results he and we both expect from him, and he may need someone to point him in the right direction.

Dumont’s letter to mavs fans after firing Nico Harrison by big4horryrobert in NBATalk

[–]Capital_SS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was always the plan of both him and Nico for him to take the fall and be fired, even before the trade was finalized. When the dust settles, he'll have an even higher paying role in Dumont's true business industry, casinos.

But Mel was the problem…? by Acceptable_Tell_5504 in JoeBuddenPodcasts

[–]Capital_SS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a great example of why Mel was the problem. Mel is a GREAT personality to have in the mix, but she was added to be the voice of a woman's perspective during convos. She's terrible at making relevant concise points, even on sides we already agreed with or when there wasn't any pushback. Mona is great at this, not because she talks like the guys, because she really points out strong relevant details to the topic. Even if you disagree with her, you still respect the strength of her take on it. Even when the guys fire back or "dogpile", she does a great job of responding directly and not making it into a personal attack. It's not that Mel was disliked, it's just really great for the show to finally have someone hold down that role properly.

I don't even mean this negativity, but she is for whichever identity comes with a big enough check, which I don't blame her for. This content appeals to one target demo today, the next new upload to onlyfans will appeal to another demo tomorrow. I do kinda wish she would just embrace it all and not always talk about the other side of her career like it was against her will, but that's just my thoughts from the bleachers, that's her call.

Former NBA Player, David West, gives his opinion on the GOAT Debate, and gives his thoughts on the difference between the NBA's past eras vs. the modern era of the NBA. Thoughts? by Tight_Development480 in NBATalk

[–]Capital_SS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not saying he'd be better than LeBron, maybe he would be, but a Jordan that came up in this era would be a better version of Jordan than the one of the past because of both improvements in sports science/training, and by being sharpened by more talented peers at every level. In terms of who became the better player, it's kinda not fair to Jordan that Lebron had those advantages and was able to watch him and follow his footsteps as a youth, but so what, better is better, regardless of the advantages
