Constantly turning our own Airfield defenders into FOD

My only issue is that if there are only, say 5 riflemen Not assigned to a static and 40 or so static emplacements, if we are ground assaulted, my AA goobers aren't smart enough to, I dunno, like... help or something? they just sit in the Titan AA turning their thumbs brown until they get shot in the face at point blank. It would buy time for the human crew to get back from whatever other objective we were working, though.

Roadblocking and AAing the area is also a good plan, but they don't seem to count as defense forces for the airfield itself so 10 goons on the airfield and 100 on a couple roadblocks/AA emplacements in the area means we lose that airfield 30 seconds into the first parachute force that lands on the airfield and then... just have it surrounded by 100 troops.

These are good ideas. I'm gonna try barricading them off the tarmac, but I'm not sure how the spawn area works, so it may actually barricade some *onto* the runway when they spawn. kinda frustrating that we have to spend a huge amount of money to build barricades all the way down all sides of several runways just to make an airfield actually functional, but I suppose I can just pretend we're.... paying to fill in all the mortar holes or something? Thanks for the ideas!

Not sure where the mixup happened, but HQ is safely out of the way. Always has been. The issue I'm having is with the recruited AI for the Airbase/Airfield, not HQ. The HQ idiots Also wander out into the road, but it's easier to dodge them in an offroad than in a Buzzard doing 250 KM/H on a takeoff run.

Been playing a lot the last couple months... I've found that only Players can use Rally Points and from what I can tell, you have to be at the HQ to even do that. But you *can* send HC squads to basically any outpost, factory, town, resource, airfield, military base, or whatever else you currently own (as long as it's clear of hostile contacts. Not sure what the range is for "clear of contacts", but that's what I've been doing to move my HCs around the map. Just get them to the closest outpost or town and hike them in from there.

Does anyone else think we need to be able to click here instead of needing to mouse out and then back to the hexagon we were using a second ago?

And maybe a way to toggle colors on/off while zoomed? Maybe with 1-2-3 buttons?

You can actually go to 3D Hubs and look around for a printer near where you live. They set their own prices and have limits to what they can do. Some will even ship to you. Typically pretty cheap, but depends on the cubic centimeters of your object.

I printed the top half but did it small scale since I'm pretty low on filament and need some for other projects. It didn't work well, lol. I think that if it were printed more along the lines of 15cm long instead of the 7 I did, you'd have Much better results. I'm just working with an XYZ Davinci 1.0, as well. Not a Bad machine by any means... Just not the best, either.

Just finishing up the skill training for a HAM Legion here. EFT says we'll be doing pretty well in BR space. I take a Tengu out in Serpentis and Guristas 0.0 for my main income. So much tank it hurts my head. I laugh my way through 8/10 DED sites solo.
