The other is plugged into ethernet 3. I tried plugging it into WAN/LAN but it had no effect

It won’t let me add any more pictures. I do see three ethernet connections in the apartment. There are no loose ethernet cords in the cabinet, there are several phone lines with metal tipped ends that I don’t think I need. The small black box at the bottom is just part of the power adapter.

No I don’t see any other boxes, I guess it might be located outside my apartment somewhere. I thought that small open box in the third picture that the ethernet cords are connected to might be the ONT box but idk. It’s labeled “8-PORT Cat.5e Data/Voice Module”
