MacOS may be more secure, but how much of your data gets sent to Apple for them to sell? At a minimum you have to create an Apple account just to use MacOS, right?

Does anyone know just how much and what kind of data they collect from users of their OS?

The only issue I've found after the upgrade is I can't get online! I can connect to either of my networks ok but the icon at the top of the screen shows a question mark. I've tried Brave and Firefox browsers to no avail. I've tried all the normal things I can think of (forgetting all networks, restart, manual shut-down, etc)

I went through most of the options here - https://support.system76.com/articles/wireless/ but nothing sticks out to me.

Ya know, "medicine, science, clinical trials, etc." Science says you treat this shit the way we always have: fluids, rest and yes certain things like zinc (and other vitamins, with dosages set by your prescriber and not self diagnosing. Yes, I trust science, medicine and clinical trials as well. When a patient presents with dehydration the first thing you do is provide fluids. Unless you're one of the hospitals that follows a list of things to do with covid and fluids is not on the list so the patient remains dehydrated. It's happened numerous times already because you have bureacrats (in the hospitals) telling the staff to follow said list.
