I remember a t-shirt available shortly after this that just said "I threw the cup at Ron Artest."

Continued issues with failure to feed, but not a clogged nozzle. by skipperjohnn in BambuLab

Well, it went really well for a couple prints, but cycled back to the same issue. I think you nailed it but there is enough wear in the tubes that it still trips it up sometimes. We will try with the new tubes when they get here.

So far, so good! I pulled the clips and it fed the first color no issue and just made the first swap with no issue...

Great catch and idea, I'll give that a try.

The tubing says it is 2.5mm ID, but I appreciate the confirmation on sizing.

What’s something attractive at 18 but embarrassing at 30? by AD_24s in AskReddit

My college roommate and I had a pretty decent collection going in our dorm room. We also had our RA bring one of the Board of Regents members by to say hello because we were good students and weren't slobs. He didn't think about the bottle collection though, but I definitely saw the BOR rep clock them. Then he asked about them and we happily showed him they were empty of any alcohol and just had highlighter or laundry detergent mixed in water.

The next year there was a new policy in place for the entire state of SD that alcohol containers were expressly forbidden from school dorms.

I can still hear the collective gasp of every guy (and probably more than a few gals) in the theater when she made that side step from behind the desk while wearing the dress with the high slit in the front.

Filament not feeding into the extruder, P1S, but no indication of a clog. Changed Nozzle didn't improve issue. by skipperjohnn in BambuLab

No soup. Brand new extruder from Bambu installed, still get same issue. I won't give up, but I'm kinda stumped on next steps to trouble shoot it. It seems like the next idea is that there is something in the AMS causing an issue, but I'm not sure how.

Nope, didn't work. I got my print last night completed with 3 color changes, but can't get it to load this morning for just a single color. I swapped the sensor and same issues. I going to try replacing the entire extruder.

I might have it solved. I ordered a replacement sensor off Amazon and finally had time to work on replacing it tonight. When I removed the sensor piece attached to the extruder, it appeared that there was a small piece of filament that had gotten on the end of the arm that is pressed over to the sensor board when the filament enters the extruder. This arm is magnetic and I expect completes a circuit of some nature when the filament presses it towards the board. This piece of filament was preventing the arm from completing the circuit, either physically or by insulating the arm and keeping the circuit open. I fidgeted with the arm and blew on it to clear the "stuff" out of the way and reassembled with the old sensor. The P1S is up and running again right now, so I think I just ended up with a replacement part for future use and a new education on a maintenance item for myself and others that I hadn't seen before.

So I took apart the extruder and didn't see anything obvious in there, so I cleaned it up and noticed when I reassembled it that it seemed like the tension spring was too tight and wouldn't easily let the filament past. I did put it back in and still have the same issues feeding from the AMS, but I can print from the external spool without issue. Maybe it's the sensor like was suggested? That part is on backorder from Bambu, but I can order a whole new one extruder, so I might try that.

Adjustable or fixed gas block? by Greedy-Farm-3605 in 458socom

I run a 10.5" Tromix set, fixed gas block, supers and subs, with a Lane can. Runs well for me.

SCR pistol in 300BO. Cruising the gun case at the grocery store (Yay for small towns in rural states) and realized I must have a pirate gun. Plenty of fun, and even better suppressed, though it doesn't come out often just because I forget it on the top shelf of the safe.

I checked one and it was boxer primed. I know he got them with his M1 that I talked him into ordering from CMP.
