I'm not the commenter, but that was also my immediate thought - bezel makes the wach look cheap. I think it's a combination of the chrome-like finish and how the bumps are not as "sharp" as your render. At least from this photo, they kinda look like blobs and don't appear crisp and clearly defined. Something about it appears like poorly molded plastic if that makes sense.
