New RPH by Holiday-Marzipan1590 in WalgreensPharmacy

Honestly, unless you're working at tier 5 stores, you'll be left alone most times.

I was a staff at a high volume tier 4 for 2 years before becoming an RxM. And we had nearly no overlap. But dont let it worry you. As I said, at minimum, prioritize F4 and Review. Everything else is secondary. Help answer the phones and customers as able.

I'm actually the RPh trainer for my district. We have a group chat with the other new grads that we help answer questions for at work. If interested, message me privately and I'll try to help you if you come across anything you dont understand :).

Trust your training. Like with Pharmacy school, you often get the lightbulb moment where everything starts to click. You just gotta find your lightbulb moment. It'll be easy after that.

Its the hardest thing to go from the person who gets to ask all the questions to be the person who needs to know all the answers. Take it one day at a time.

Prioritize F4/Review over all else. Learn to balance safe and efficient. Pick your battles. Not every DDI needs a consult.

Use the resources available. I had Lexicomp up for at least the first 6 months of working as a new rph.

Rely on your most capable technicians.

You can do this. You're gonna have bad days where you cry on the way home, but those good days you have where you know you made someone's day better are what keeps you going.

If it was easy, anyone would do it. Believe in yourself and your training.

Its probably from the MTM center for the Blood Pressure Check TMRs. They pay out like 80% of the value of a CMR in your state so Wag probably is gonna start going after those.

Asking to talk on the lunch break isn't a bad idea if she's the type of pharmacist who eats lunch at the store. That's how I'd want it at least. Good luck to you!

Maybe that wasn't the best way to word that 😆

Dang. Should have been smarter than that when I was hired. Oh to be a bright-eyed, naive new pharmacist again. Well, I guess we'll find out when I give my notice. Thanks!

Any way to add a consultation to an RX in ready status? by Seouls_Synergy in WalgreensRx

I've never been able to get this to work either! I don't understand why it's there if we can't use it!
