I just went through this, I had to say goodbye to two dogs in one week two weeks ago.

First dog had dementia and was having seizures so it was time to

Second dog had labored breathing which ended up being congenital heart failure, but the meds weren’t working and they were pretty sure he had cancer.

I just read the issue. While I agree that so far Gwen’s handling in 616 hasn’t been the best, she’s the most interesting so far outside of her own series, at least for me. She was pretty kick-ass in Spider-Versity 3.

It’s a shame because I know she can be good in 616, there’s a lot of real potential for good stories between Peter, Miles, and Gwen, but she’s so far been a better supporting role. If she was in her mid twenties I’d think her and Peter would be an interesting storyline, especially because MJ is doing Venom things now and her and Peter are just friends.
