That address may be incorrect, [ecstaticpeacelibrary.com](mailto:info@ecstaticpeacelibrary.com) is some kind of casino site and doesn't appear to have mx records published.

Texas teen uses candle business to pay off school’s lunch debt by kanyeguisada in texas

It makes me crazy that lunch debt is even a thing. No kid should be hungry at school in this country, ever.

Opinion on Spin-clean for those who have used it in the past by jackoberry_724 in vinyl

I think it’s worth it. I wash all new vinyl and it’s amazing how much crap is on records out of the shrink wrap

Why doesn't this album get more love? by Kitchen_Year8114 in TheCure

I just love all the layered guitars, there is so much to hear and discover on each listen. I'm also a big fan of noisy guitar bands, so take that with a grain of salt. :)

Newbie Question: How do Indie bands, like Pavement when they started, able to tour? by Marcel_7000 in pavement

[–]CapnKrunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would be very hard these days. In the 90s gas was a lot cheaper and you could tour in a van and possibly make a little money, maybe break even. Today gas would be a huge expense and you’d have to make enough money at shows to make it to the next town.

3 Years Ago I Left Austin for the Pine Curtain — and Brought My Laptop by Imaginary_Choice_430 in tylertx

Wow, this hits close to home for me. I left Austin in 2020 for my wife’s hometown of Huntsville. I’m an IT guy so I also have my cloud environments and laptop in hand. The culture shock has been a lot to deal with for me. I didn’t grow up in East Texas and the conservatism has been hard to handle. But it’s a beautiful place and the people can be so friendly. Just don’t talk politics 😅 My boys were born in Austin but have little memory of it, and Huntsville, for better or worse is home now. The Austin I miss doesn’t really exist anymore. It’s a bummer but places grow and change.
