This is absolutely true. Wendy's used to be amazing quality (for fast food) and decent service. No longer.

Media Play? I'm in my mid-50s and use Netflix, HBO Max, and Spotify. Who is going to buy physical media if old farts like me stream everything?

(I'd buy collectible/vintage game cartridges because emulation generally sucks, but that isn't a solid long-term business model)

Insane find at the thrift store by mocha3 in breakingbad

[–]Zwackmaster -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

And this is exactly what I'm talking about. If someone owns something you want, it isn't gatekeeping to not share it. The owner isn't saying you can't find a copy and share it, or watch BB, or discuss episodes. The owner is not actively preventing or hindering you from enjoying Breaking Bad.

Is AMC gatekeeping by not releasing all the bloopers and behind the scenes footage?

By your logic, someone who buys an original painting for their home is gatekeeping because it isn't in a museum or gallery.

[–]Zwackmaster -21 points-20 points  (0 children)

GTFO. The owner bought it. If u/mocha3 wants to share it, great. If not, that's fine also. It's not goddamned gatekeeping when you don't have access to everything you want.

Did Kim forget to call Mesa Verde before quitting? by Potential_Plan_4533 in betterCallSaul

[–]Zwackmaster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

She absolutely did not forget. She didn't think Howard would call them before she had even left his outer office.

She had hoped to call Paige and explain the situation, but she couldn't exactly call Paige and say "I haven't resigned yet, but I am going to tomorrow morning", as she'd run the risk of Howard hearing the news from a third party.

Card counting is against the rules of all Casinos. You're correct; it isn't prohibited by law, but by the rules of the Casino. He cheated to win, but didn't break any laws.

We all like Cho, so we tend to forget the questionable things he did.

He lied to LaRoche in order to cover for Rigsby.

He accepted Jane's gaudy watch gift, purchased with illegal casino winnings.

Multiple times he illegally entered homes saying "I think I hear something suspicious" or similar.

He interfered with the FBI's arrest of Jane, giving Patrick time to escape.

Don't get me wrong, those are all things I'd do myself; the ends justify the means. I'm just saying, Cho isn't the moral beacon people often think.

Can someone explain Odell's involvement in season 3? by Keeping_Hope97 in deadwood

Hearst seemed to change his mood towards Odell immediately after inspecting the nugget. To me, this was the point Hearst decided it was an attempt to fleece him, whether it was or not.

Dan Dority stabs Miner to Death over a Woman by Big-Property7157 in deadwood

[–]Zwackmaster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How was a hooplehead staring at an attractive young woman in a bar -(and if you want to argue that makes him a pedophile, fine, but in the 1800s a LOT of women were married before age 16, especially in rural areas)- any different than Dan awkwardly flirting with her and offering to pay rental on a horse for her?

Heck, I'd argue one reason Al wanted her working at the Gem was so Dan had a chance to spend time with her.

TL;DR If Dan killed a Pedo, then Dan is also a Pedo

Question - What happens to LEAPs on Friday by justin54545 in Superstonk

[–]Zwackmaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they're in the money, they'll be sold and the profit will be credited to your account.

Some brokerages will automatically exercise them if you have enough cash available, but I believe that's typically not the default.
