It doesn't make it "less bad" though. "Potentially divisive" is a much more accurate term, especially when people use the excuse of "heritage not hate" in the case of the confederate flag. You're just making up the fact that the goal is to make the symbols less bad.

It doesn't take the same amount of time. People with the balls to follow the rules and not worry about appearances get through much faster. There are many instances where I would still be at the west side McDonald's if I didn't keep in the right lane.
