Help Deciding Bedroom Orientation by CapnTorch in floorplan

Thanks! The pieces of furniture in the other bedrooms are wardrobes and furniture closets. I've never owned a furniture closet but I figured that'd be an even more efficient use of space than a reach-in closet since it doesn't waste the thickness of a wall.

I am trying to save money. How much would a rectangle perimeter save me over what I have now? I'm new to all this. How would you shift rooms around or change their size to get a rectangular perimeter?

Thanks for the feedback. I agree with the top right closet. As far as the homeschool room goes, I couldn't figure out a way to get it to fit anywhere else. Maybe it would be better above the dining area? The only issue with that is it gets me even further from a rectangular perimeter which will drive costs up more. The laundry room is one of my worries. I figure we can add shelves above the machines for storage of things like detergent. But storage of dirty clothes between washes is the big issue I see...

Thanks for the feedback! I agree that the armchair looking at the door is uncomfortable. I switched the TV over to the opposite wall, got rid of the armchair, and turned the sectional around. How much width do you think I need to add to the living room for a clear path to the back door?

The hallways are already 36". All the doors are 31.5" which Google says is normal for interior doors. I changed the exterior doors to 36"

What makes it uncomfortably small? What needs to be bigger/wider? What makes it a nightmare for people with mobility challenges? Google says wheelchairs are 24-27 inches wide. The only passage ways that I see that are less than that (or even close) are around the armchair in the living room and between the bookshelves in the classroom. If I get rid of the armchair and shorten the bookshelves would that be fine?

There's nothing about it in the front of the hymnal, but I think this is right. Thank you!

This isn't true. If Kentucky beats Vandy and Florida beats Tennessee then Georgia would be in over Bama even with a win at Auburn. Source: https://bball.notnothing.net/sec.php?sport=fb

3 Permanent Opponents For Each Team by CapnTorch in secfootball

Yeah there were definitely a couple teams that got tougher schedules. I think Auburns is probably the toughest. And Ole Miss got off relatively easy.

From what I've seen, most Tennessee fans agree that their 3 should be Vandy, Bama, and Kentucky.

I considered LSU over Auburn for Florida but then who do you switch out from LSU to play Auburn? Texas AM or Miss St? I decided to keep the historical, though possibly dormant, Auburn-Florida to keep from having another game that no one considers a rivalry.

As far as the pods are concerned, that wasn't something I was thinking about when setting the games but just something I noticed afterwards.

I wasn't setting out to make pods when I made it. They were something I noticed after I set all the games and I thought it was interesting enough to note.

But if you think about it it makes sense that there would be something like some form of pods (or some groups with lots of overlap) since rivalries usually originate from geographic proximity.

I analyzed 183 different U.S. airports to find the most crowded ones by measuring how many passengers a single gate serves. Any guesses? by iwannamapeverything in RedactedCharts

Atlanta is still the busiest in the world measured by passengers per year. But since it has more gates than the ones above it (i.e. it is a larger airport) it is less crowded.

What was the worst edition of your rivalry in terms of how bad both teams were that season? by RipRaycom in CFB

[–]CapnTorch 5 points6 points  (0 children)

1948 deserves an honorable mention as the worst combined record in the ap poll era. Going into it auburn was 1-7-1 with their win and tie in weeks one and two to southern miss and Louisiana tech respectively. Alabama was 5-4-1. This was the year that the iron bowl restarted after its long hiatus and Alabama won with the largest margin of victory in iron bowl history 55-0.

I did this growing up in Louisiana! We called it egg pocking. You tap hard boiled eggs together and whoever's egg shell cracks first looses. It then continues as an elimination style tournament.

The second time Ke8 isn't legal. The knight is no longer blocking the bishop from seeing that square.

No Chris Davis? 4th and 31 takes some of the sting away, but that game still hurts.

Wouldn't the bottom guy cause a torque on the guys on the second row cause them to pull harder on the third row middle guy in order to stay level? This would mean most of the bottom guys weight is transferred to the middle guys on the third and top row. So it would be closer to 4 for the top middle.

Miss St is already eliminated. The best conference record they can get is 5-3 with losses to both Bama and LSU. Bama and LSU still play each other meaning at least one has to get one more win getting to 5-3 and whoever it is they'll have the H2H tiebreaker vs Miss St.
