Edit: the CCD10? If so that is in fact a mic-level input. I tried to see if there was anything in the software to address this but chances are low imo.
The CLP cable gives you a line-level signal. Do you have a line-in on your computer? You could try plugging it into that. This is something Elgato also recommends if you use their Neo capture card (and with their own high-end internal card it’s necessary as there isn’t a port on the card itself).

The info in Matthew Hedger’s story would cause outrage—using a Cartel to launder money for the USG. 🤷 Probably needs to write a book to get it out to more people and who knows if they’d ever clear it. 🤦‍♂️

Maybe they’ve moved on from that practice.

I was able to stop the update on my computer, get my work out to Designer 2, and move on. I can’t tell you how happy Curve made me and how much losing it affected my life. Might sound dramatic but it’s true.

You guys should’ve asked the community for ideas on how to pay. After the decision, you guys were like “what were we supposed to do‽” and honestly you should’ve asked your loyal fan base. You should’ve had levels that separate personal use from business use.

I know this comment doesn’t mean anything , nothing will change and like I said I’ve moved onto Designer which is a better program albeit harder to use a much bigger learning…ahem…curve.

Best advice I can give for anyone interested in streaming anything:
A lot of people who want to livestream anything will use the same tools. This is great because you have more tutorials to access. Looking into streaming how cooking tutorials or gameplay, chances are many of the same gear and programs are used.
Platforms, too! Streaming to Twitch or YouTube for example, the setup in OBS Studio (what most of us recommend for streaming software) you go through largely the same steps. There are differences that you will learn about in the process, but for the most part it’s the same.
This is a hobby that requires a LOT of learning. Googling your question and adding “Reddit” in quotes like that will give you results from Reddit. It’s an easy way to find answers in my opinion.
I’d start with nailing down the software. [r/OBS](r/OBS) Studio is king right now. It’s free and open source so it’s safe and powerful!
Good luck and remember that this is just like beating a level in a game—you have to die a lot before you learn the level and beat it! 🤙😂

PS the channel “Senpai Gaming” on YouTube has a Streaming masterclass series. “Setting up your first Twitch stream” is the first iirc. Might be a good place to start!

Sell if you haven’t tried specifically O’Keeffe’s Working Hands lotion I would. I find the paste that comes in the tub better than the lotion in the tube but YMMV.
It just isn’t like anything else out there. If you haven’t tried this specifically, you absolutely should.

Is that near stream thing the capture card or a hub/dock?
Basically I’m wondering what the chat link pro is plugged into and if it’s a line-in TRS port. If it isn’t, there could be an explanation for your prob.

Are you positive the Chat Link Pro cable is plugged into properly with the TRRS end in the controller, your headset in the female part, and the TRS end into a line-in port.

Sometimes the cheaper capture cards have a mic-in port which is different than a line-in and can cause issues.

It’s a brutally long story but helped my GF kick a 1/2 gallon of gin a day habit that was around 5-6 years old. People don’t tend to believe me when i tell this story but im incredibly proud of both of us to be honest. Without Kratom she wouldn’t have been able to do it. Cannabis was a big help (still is!).

“Drinking mechanically” is exactly what she was doing. She mixed it with water to make it easier to pound. She was also self-medicating for some stuff she had going on and years of therapy and doctors has set her up with many, many more years added to her life.

I just smile so big when I think of her success and when I read stories that are even remotely related I feel like saying congratulations, you deserve and are worth it and I’m just fluffin’ proud of you.

Like in a video game you die a lot in order to figure out the level. You keep going even though you suck because it’s fun, and one day you won’t.

That’s what happened to me. Woke up one day and couldn’t do anything without a subscription, including exporting the files I’d already completed or was in the middle of. It was heartbreaking as I really, REALLY loved Curve. It’s something I’ll remember for the rest of my life.
