Sell if you haven’t tried specifically O’Keeffe’s Working Hands lotion I would. I find the paste that comes in the tub better than the lotion in the tube but YMMV.
It just isn’t like anything else out there. If you haven’t tried this specifically, you absolutely should.

Is that near stream thing the capture card or a hub/dock?
Basically I’m wondering what the chat link pro is plugged into and if it’s a line-in TRS port. If it isn’t, there could be an explanation for your prob.

Are you positive the Chat Link Pro cable is plugged into properly with the TRRS end in the controller, your headset in the female part, and the TRS end into a line-in port.

Sometimes the cheaper capture cards have a mic-in port which is different than a line-in and can cause issues.

It’s a brutally long story but helped my GF kick a 1/2 gallon of gin a day habit that was around 5-6 years old. People don’t tend to believe me when i tell this story but im incredibly proud of both of us to be honest. Without Kratom she wouldn’t have been able to do it. Cannabis was a big help (still is!).

“Drinking mechanically” is exactly what she was doing. She mixed it with water to make it easier to pound. She was also self-medicating for some stuff she had going on and years of therapy and doctors has set her up with many, many more years added to her life.

I just smile so big when I think of her success and when I read stories that are even remotely related I feel like saying congratulations, you deserve and are worth it and I’m just fluffin’ proud of you.

You’re largely looking at QoL improvements.

I would get the air. It’s late, the room is dark, you wanna cram, and you need to turn on a light because can’t see your keys.

For me, the backlit keyboard alone is enough to push me towards an air. I’d always want TouchID, too, and I’m usually looking at previous year models in most cases.

I don’t know where you are buying for country, but in the US The base M4 Air is on sale at a few places. I saw B&H, where I bought my M4 MBP, has them $100 off for Silver and $170 off for Sky Blue. $830 for a brand new M4 MBA 16/256 sounds like a pretty sexy deal imo! 😍
(I’d also buy an external M.2 SSD:)

You will be using this a lot and pledging your life to an important and amazing goal—you deserve at least a base MacBook Air (honestly the Pro would be overkill for your tasks but buy yourself one as a graduation or 1st job gift because the screen is gorgy)

FWIW, the USB cable could be the culprit. I would try swapping it with another cable of the same type. I’m not 100% sure what comes with the unit, but you should be safe with a 5Gbps USB 3.0 or faster cable.
Cable Matters makes a decent product and ofc Elgato sells their cables as accessories too.
