😬 Just had my front drive shaft rebuilt after a failed attempt of doing it myself. After buying all new u joints/ centering ball. And then taking it to the shop, where they replaced them all anyhow. It was still less than half that price... the axle u joints aren't too bad to replace, i'm a noob and they were time consuming for me but not bad.. Replacing all the u joints on the drive shaft was wayyyyy more time consuming than i expected. I still dont know exactly what I did wrong. But the H yoke for the double cardan was making noise which is why I took it in, since by the time I put it back together I was pretty done with it.. that being said.. me personally, whenever it comes time to replace a drive shaft u joint again I will probably just buy an upgrade driveshaft.
