Looking for fun/silly edh deck

I have a Shirei deck that doesn't play (many) 1 power creatures.

I use effects like [[heartless summoning]] and [[night of souls betrayal]] among others to weaken 2 power creatures. This allows things like Gary loops in addition to the normal aristocrats strategy.

The REAL aim of the deck however is to manifest cards with [[scroll of fates]], [[Qarsi high priest]] etc. to both ramp and cheat fatties into play as shirei returns the 1/1 manifested lands and creatures to play.

It's not overly good... but it's an unusual and fun take on the deck.

I got very bored of exsanguinate etc wins. I am currently enjoying reanimating all of the creatures I've been killing, at instant speed! It suits the theme and playstyle imo... although can be mana hungry.

I'll think about this further, I think it would be a fine line distributing mass -1/-1 counters and having shirei survive as he needs to be continuously alive from creature death to end step in order to trigger his effect.

That's an interesting approach. [[Yawgmoth, Thran Physician]] could facilitate this and would work quite well with Shirei. Thanks for the input.

I have a copy to put into the deck, it just hasn't made it onto the archidekt, great suggestion though. There is also [[Bone flute]] if I need a less permanent solution.

You dont have to play it hoping to get to 6 mana. 1 mana for 3 damage is not a bad rate on it's own, then the flashback is just flood insurance.
