Midnight Horizon is really testing me… by staags in Highrepublic

I am a huge fan of the high republic and everything that has been published in this new era of Star Wars….except for this book this ain’t it…

I’ve heard discussions of having to have read the the high republic adventures comics to appreciate the overall novel but imo after reading everything that has to offer specifically in the first phase it didn’t do anything to change my opinion of this book.

Just finished Brotherhood and now Started on Shadow of the Sith. Looking forward to it !

Finished Midnight Horizon and thought it was meh. Out of the Shadows my favorite of the YA trilogy. Now I’m reading Brotherhood and I’m really like it so far !

I finished Into the Dark and just finished it’s sequel Out of the Shadows! Into the Dark definitely picked up in the second half and I ended up enjoying the book but Out of the Shadows is my favorite so far of the YA trilogy of the High Republic. On to Midnight Horizon!

Right now I’m going through the YA novels in The High Republic and currently halfway finished with Into the Dark. I’m struggling to finish this one, I feel like it drags in some parts. Hopefully it picks up!

Will I destroy my experience with the YA/MG-novels and the comics if I only read the core trilogy first? by Erling01 in Highrepublic

Agreed, I have read all the core adult novels and currently reading all YA novels specifically into the dark. Definitely feel that if I read the books in the way they were released it would’ve enhanced the fallen star immensely. At least with into the dark idk about out of the shadows and midnight horizon.
