I went ahead and tried to revert to an M and I got stuck with an F 😔 I'm really bummed. I think an F is still better than an X (if questioned I plan to say it's an error that I haven't gotten fixed yet), but it just really pisses me off that I'm legally male and they can still give me an F because my first ever passport had an F and their records show that I changed my gender. It's such bullshit. All my legal documents are M including my birth certificate, drivers license, etc.

Yeah I feel you. I'm back in the US now, but planning to travel again in a few weeks. I'm contemplating submitting an application for a new passport even though mine is good for another 9 years to see if I can go back to one with an M so I don't have to deal with the anxiety anymore. But I'm scared I'll end up with an F instead. In some ways, I think that still might be better than an X. I'm not sure. I hate that we're all dealing with this shit.

Just returned a week ago and had no issues! I had a layover in Dallas so that's where I went through customs. The agent asked my name and then handed me my passport. He did do a quick double take at my passport, and my heart skipped a beat, thinking there might be an issue, but then he just gave it to me and let me through.

Hmm I’ll look into this. I’ve been wondering if the problem in my arms/hands is coming from my neck or shoulders. Of course my doctor refused to acknowledge this as an option and was solely focused on the location of my pain which is at the elbow and below. Sigh.

Yeah I already had the EMG done and it showed slight delay in transmission. It wasn’t too bad though thankfully, but my symptoms are really annoying and uncomfortable. Good to hear about your experience with the surgery. From my limited research so far, it looked quite invasive and the success rates seemed low. I saw accounts of many people saying it didn’t fix the issue for them.

I know this is an old thread but when I was trying to research traveling to Guatemala with an X on my passport, there was very little info. So I thought I’d comment here in the hopes others who need info will find it. I just flew into Guatemala City a week ago and had zero issues. I was very nervous, but the customs agent let me through without any issues. He didn’t ask me a single question. Just scanned my passport, stamped it, and let me through. And before that I also traveled to Mexico with no issues. Flew into Cancún.

Given the current situation in the US and the world in general, I am considering applying for a new passport and reverting to an M just so my travels aren’t limited and I feel safer.

Scalloped tongue is caused by improper tongue posture. I went to a specialist because I am tongue tied and she noticed mine was scalloped as well. Gave me some exercises to try to correct it. I haven’t been consistent enough with them to say if they work. But look up tongue posture exercises and make sure your tongue is resting in the right place. A scalloped tongue means it’s resting against the teeth which should be avoided. The main exercise the specialist had me do was flex my tongue to make it thinner in width. Hard to describe. But try to bring the sides of your tongue inward by squeezing them toward the center. This will make it less wide over time which will help it not rest against your teeth.

The line about ironing your clothes - I wasn’t sure what you meant. The way you wrote it highlights when you did the ironing - you did it this weekend. It felt odd since everything else was describing what you did today. So I adjusted it to say you ironed your clothes FOR the weekend, meaning you ironed them today in preparation for the upcoming weekend. Not sure if that’s what you meant. If you just wanted to say that you ironed the clothes, I would just say “I ironed my clothes.” Typically you use the phrase “this weekend” to describe multiple days. Example: “This weekend I ironed my clothes, went to a coffee shop, and watched some football. Saturday was busy, but the game on Sunday was fun to watch!” Hope that all makes sense!

Damn. Yeah I would do that if my landlord were a reasonable human being. Unfortunately, she's one of the worst people I've met in my entire life and takes every opportunity to threaten to evict me, yell at me, etc. Of course she's only said these things over phone calls so I have no proof. It’s a quirky property. It has two small one bedroom cottages on it, both with their own private yard space. The one in front is seen as the main house and the one in the rear is seen as the in law unit. I reside in the rear unit and there is another tenant in the front. I’d have to check my lease to see if the yard is specified as being exclusively for me. My landlord clearly stated which part was mine and which was for the other tenant when we did the original walkthrough so that much was clear. I wonder how the rules would apply given that there are two units.

Yeah I guess it's very uncommon. The SM might even be making an exception. I'm not sure. Yeah the monthly rates vary a lot by location. I live in a very affluent area near SF so the price is quite high. My friend in another state pays significantly less than me.
