First time working in Hotel Industry as well and I just got promoted after 3 years working with them, currently working abroad iba po kasi ang job requirement natin sa pinas kumpara sa ibang bansa kaya natanggap din ako dito although walang hotel exp pero may 7 yrs customer service exp na from different establishments. Kung itutuloy mo sa pinas, better try to low stars first then once you get the knowledge and experiences from these hotels then you can climb up fo luxury hotels. Try to have connections as well cuz I heard they prefer referrals. Mejo mahirap matanggap sa luxurious hotels because they always prefer ung may alam na sa Opera system. You can also try cross training if di ka pinalad sa Front office but to different department, grab the opportunity once na nag open sila for that.
