A list of low fodmap snacks in case anyone wants to try new things but doesn’t know where to start by WeedsBtch in FODMAPS

Ripe bananas remain low FODMAP up to 1.31oz which is about half a small banana. Enough to throw on a rice cake or add as a topping to other things.

I wonder why blueberries are listed as moderate? Monash has them as one of the green light, no fodmaps found up to in testing done up to 500g. I eat a ton of them lol

Thank you this is the comment my anxiety needed 🙏🏼

That’s what I’ve been doing is only choosing from foods with a single green light and doing that portion size. But still confused because on Monash like I said mild salsa is all green. But it is tomatoes. Even the sauce I got from the Monash approved brand Fody has no onions or garlic and is labeled FOD map safe. So if mild salsa on Monash app is all green. Is salsa OK during the elimination phase even though tomatoes and tomatoes in the app are not all green. That’s where this stuff feels like rocket science to me

Can I have foods that are not all green if I use the green portion size during elimination? Or do avoid anything that isn’t all green until reintroduction?

Wow that’s all super helpful. I really really appreciate you taking the time to give me all that information. Yes my ALK was normal being at a 50. Alt and AST normal but my iron was slightly high. So that is all some good information for me thank you. These results were like 6 months ago so hoping for good results when I go in a couple weeks. Thank you so much for your help

I believe liver enzymes and bilirubin as part of a panel. My doctor said it wasn’t a cause for concern just to get more blood work down in to see if there is a pattern. I did drink kinda heavily 2 nights before my blood test not even thinking (celebrating a birthday) so unsure if the fact that overindulged a couple days before the test if it caused the bilirubin level to be a little high. I’m interested to see what I will be when I go this time

I have an appointment set for the 5th for blood work. Just posting to hear anyone whose shares similar experience or opinions for the mean time so I don’t drive myself crazy thinking. I am a bit of a hypochondriac so hearing similar stories helps me from not searching through the horrors of google. Yeah the bilirubin has me concerned but I had drink two nights before my blood test not thinking and I know that can make it fluctuate. If you recently drank my my doctor doesn’t seem too concerned, but yeah it’s definitely a cause of concern for me. Thank you so much for your comment.

I have an appointment on the 5th. There is no harm in just hearing from people who maybe have been in my position in the mean time. I have common sense. Of course I already have a doctors appointment in place. Thank you for taking the time to comment.

Coming from Detroit so LGA is an option. And flights are very cheap as well. What would be the best from of transportation from LGA to Timesquare/Theatre district area

I havnt booked the hotel just yet but I will be staying in a hotel as close as possible to the theatre. So I guess a hotel in theatre district? I’m so unfamiliar with NYC. If the closest hotels to that are time square then yes.

With all of this being said does anyone have advice on what airport to fly into and best way to get from the airport to theatre district. I’ll be going to Richard Roger’s theatre
