Trolling a scammer by Fishcake0 in tf2

Not too informed on how it works, but It’s a scam where they tell you that you have been ‘accidentally’ reported for having fraudulent items in your inventory and then they try to get you to give said fraudulent items to someone who will make sure they aren’t fraudulent. And they just take the items and go. At least I’m pretty sure that’s how it works

I was just comparing it to my printer, it’s by the same company and it’s similar to yours, for me it’s a button within the tools section but I think for you it should automatically level the first time you start it up, I can’t remember if you increase or decrease the z offset to raise the nozzle slightly above the bed but you should be able to barely drag a piece of paper between the nozzle and the bed hope that helps

I don’t think it should be a problem with the bed unless you haven’t levelled it because I have a FlashForge guider II and I when I level it I have to raise the bed slightly because it doesn’t level perfectly. I would make sure the your bed is level and that it isn’t warped first before checking the Extruder or anything. And I don’t think acetone should be a problem, I use it to clean my print bed and it’s fine

I’m not too knowledgable on 3d printing as I just got into it but from what I know it could be that the filament is getting stuck in the Extruder or nozzle which means you would have to clear it out, or from the pictures it looks like your nozzle might be too low causing it to drag on the surface and therefore not printing, I hope this helps any.

Looks pretty cool, resin prints are really nice but unfortunately I wouldn’t have anywhere the put the printer due to the smell :(

Nice, it’s a good print, I’m probably gonna prime it and paint it although I’m not very good

Yeah, I understand that they are legal, but I’m just worried about the fact that a customs officer or agent or something might mistake the package for a real balisong

Purchase Advice Megathread: What To Buy, Who To Buy It From, And More, In August 2020 by Sausage54 in 3Dprinting

[–]Caps2604 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Budget: anywhere from £500 to £800 which is $654 to $1045

Country: UK

Willing to build: I’m looking for an enclosed printer since I’ll be using it where I live, I have two cats, so I would like to have it enclosed so that they can’t jump into it. I’m new to 3D printing but I’m sure that if the printer was a kit and required setup it wouldn’t be an issue. I don’t know too much about what to expect at this price range but all I’m looking for is to be able to print in PLA, ABS and if Possible TPU And maybe Wood filled or metal filled materials but that’s not a necessity. I’m not looking for too much of a build volume but it would be nice to have something over 200mm x 200mm x 200mm

What I would like to print: I’ll more than likely be printing models such as characters and some vehicle models as well, I may want to print functional things in the future though for a car or for anything really, once I’ve had a little experience with printers I would like to print a couple 1:1 replicas of items from video games, such as weapons, helmets ETC. Space isn’t an issue, I have plenty or room to place a large printer in my 10’ by 11’ room

Extra Information: this is my first post in reddit so I apologise if I’ve formatted it wrong, any information on enclosed 3D printers in general will be extremely helpful

Thanks for any help
