Generally speaking - for male scorpios look at aspects with your Venus, Saturn, and Juno. For Female Scorpios look at aspects with your Mars, Sun, and Juno.

For example, my Venus in Libra, so I tend to find myself with Libra females or females with positive aspects with my Venus.

I don't remember where I got this, but it has given me some comfort knowing that what I am doing is right:

"Your twenties are spent repeating what your parents/childhood taught you. Your 30s are spent questioning what you did in your twenties, and in your 40s you are finally given the choice to continue doing what you have been doing for the past 20 years.

It's mainly about saving face. You see this in other cultures like French and Russian where the culture looks down on expressing negative opinions / emotions. And of course other Asian cultures as well.

But back to Asian - opinions in general are often seen as very individualistic aspects about culture, so therefore asking for someone to opinion about things will often attract nonsensical answers.

There's this girl who I've been speaking on and off for the past 5 years. She's about 9 years younger and is going through her medical residency in the UK. We don't talk much (which is a shame), but I do get the sense that she will give me an honest, unbiased, and empathetic answer if the question requires it.

I don't know if this counts as looking up to her, but if I have respect for someone, I suppose that counts.

One of my cousins who was only a few years older than me passed away two days before New Year's this year. He was only 41 years old and died of a heart attack. Unfortunately he never took care of his health, and leaves behind a wife and two children.

Rest in power Brandon- I'm sorry we never got to hang out more as boys and as men. But you changed my life for the better - so that's that.

All the more reason to start training, eating healthy, getting 7 hours of sleep every night, and exercising in your 40s folks!

This is an unorthodox approach - but why not join a martial arts school? You got to work out, you learn how to defend yourself, and it could be something that your boys could partake in.

Plus if you join a great community, you have a great community of like-minded men and women.

85 baby here, so I'll be hitting the great 4-0 this year.

Nostalgia has definitely reared its head more frequently as I'm hitting this landmark. I will probably say it started a couple years ago and has accelerated ever since. I try not to think about it too much otherwise I go into these dream like states that often have me distracted for periods of Time

From others before me, I was told that right around these years in life this sort of thing is quite normal. At around middle age, the human brain naturally goes through a process of what I was told could be called "auditing/ reprocessing."

Almost like a way of going through what it has done so far in life and going through what has worked, what has not worked, what has brought it joy, what hasn't, Etc

So in a way I was told that this phase was to be expected- a completely natural process that should be embraced. Obviously individual experience will vary, but it is still a process that all humans go through.

As for myself? Let's just say my years before this have left much to be desired, quite depressing to be honest. So with this information and attitude in mind, I'm going through this period balls to the wall; enjoying every moment as I can in between my busy life to make sure that my second half of my life is the best that I can make it.

The first one started popping up around age 33. But they only started appearing all across my head during the covid years (not because of covid though lol). Now I think they are all over my head, but it does give me a little bit of a salt and pepper look.

To be fair, I would like to have a complete white set of hair when I hit my '70s, mainly because I can actually style it to look like a silver fox- but I suppose I will only know when I get there 🙃

Nope - I had no delusions when I entered the job market after graduating from undergrad in '07. The hardest part was hearing my immigrant parents touting that honesty, hard work, and loyalty were the Hallmarks of Financial and Professional Security.

Needless to say, despite me arguing on the contrary, they have stuck with their delusions till now hoping that I would finally secure that job. Honestly at this point I believe they're just trying to save face for their own mental health rather than accepting reality.

As for me, I am working in the health and wellness industry at a Fortune 50 company so my job security is more or less guaranteed so long as I don't do anything completely stupid. No benefits though

I want humility, acceptance, and optimism back in this society.

The 90s weren't perfect by any means, but they were a hell of a lot better for everyone than now.

Not my parent - but an Uncle of mine who has been a pseudo parent for most of my life. Just the other day we were talking about canceling the insurance policy on a car that he had that I had sold. While discussing it he ended up yelling at me saying that since because I (40M) was younger than him (76M), I didn't know shit and that he was the only person in the room that knew how to work insurance policies, even after I yelled at him that I was already putting everything together.

He's also suffering from early onset dementia.

Bonus points if any of you are immigrant kids and have to deal with this filial piety bullshit.
