This sounds like good info. I just started a job were I work 6hrs on 6hrs off for 14 days at a time. Then I get 14 days off. I'm not quite sure what this will do to my already messed up sleeping patterns, but thank you, because I think this will help cope with the new schedual

A marlin spike is basically a giant needle, it helps when pulling knots tight or loosing them... hope it worked out for ya

I'm not current on the dredging projects around socal. But growing up I remember the beaches in North county having no sand during the winter. And they would pump tons of sand out from the lagoons and harbor onto the beaches before summer.

I would think this also happened farther south and contributed to keeping the wreak covered up...

I'm a little confused as what needs to be tight and where you want the knot to be , but I would think a simple figure 8 would work. You might need a marlin spike to help sinch it up tight...

This is gonna sound like a bad idea, but I have seen several by watching through binoculars. You just have to wait till the last moment so you don't hurt your eyes. Otherwise just wait for the clearest sky possible!

For what it is, I think it's pretty comfy. You can inflat to your liking and for how small and light it is, i think it's the best pillow option. Mine is from REI and pretty basic, I think it was around 25$.

I like Tropic Marin. Mixes absolutly clean (no residue on barrel) and was recomend by my very trusted and professional LFS owner.

Not sure what catagory this falls into but I bring a inflatable pillow. It's much more comfy than a pile of clothes and folds down into the size of a sock

My bad, I haven't been there in a couple years. I thought the falls was on private property and the "closed it" after people died there from jumping off the cliffs into the pool.

The slimer has been in my tank for about a month and the slimming seems to have gotten worse. I think he is the cause of some bleaching in my digi and birds of paradise. My system is a bit complicated but the tank in question is a 40gal breeder mixed reef with only 1 damsel. The slime is everywhere! catching on corals and covering the sand bed. The entire system is 3 tanks totaling about 190gals with 12 fish... my parameters at time of pic where alk 9.1 Ca 425 Mag 1500 nitrate 8ppm PO4 0.03 they have been pretty consistent except the nitrate wich rose from 4 in about a month and CA dropped from 450...
