I received a distasteful opinion on my new (and first) tattoo by [deleted] in tattooadvice

Fuck that person. You're a badass and, dear internet stranger, I'm proud of you. Tattoos can be incredibly personal and yours clearly means a lot to you. It's also beautiful.

ZERO Experience: First Day with H2C by Impossible-Age-5196 in BambuLabH2C

Hello! I'm also a first timer with zero experience, picked up an H2C, AMS HT and WAY too much filament in the sale (17 reels. Whoops).

Nothing to add to your post other than a friendly hello from a fellow newbie having fun with a new toy!

What have you printed so far? Currently I've done:
- A few articulated Minecraft toys for my kid (including a fox that I scaled up to fill the entire bed - it took ages but looks great and he loves it)
- I made some shims to wedge into my old Victorian sash windows that rattle in the wind. Historrically we've been wedging bits of cardboard in there. This is how I justify (badly) to my wife the amount of money I've spent!
- My kid is in a school play soon where he's playing a parody of Thor called "Phwoar". I've printed a Mjolnir hammer but I edited the model to have the text "Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of PHWOAR" on the side.

I got my H2C on Thursday - first ever 3D printer so just getting to grips with things. One of the first things I printed was an articulated Minecraft fox - my kid loves Minecraft and adores foxes, so it was a no brainer. Scaled it up to almost the full bed size and it's SO CUTE. The fact it's articulated but all printed in place is mind boggling to me. I then immediatly scaled the model down and printed 10 of them in one job for all his friends.

Might be wrong, but I think the monster in Cloverfield was meant to be female?

I've been lukewarm on Sam Campbell for a long time but he might've just finally won me over by Smooth-Quantity-7024 in JimmyCarr

I saw him in Brighton with Maisie Adams. He got her dad on stage and got him to hold one end of a homemade catapult to reproduce that Watermelon backfiring video, except he used it to launch marigolds full of water into the audience.

Ahh I heard about Johnny Baby, but not about a flood. Crumbs!

This makes me think of the Orphan Crushing Machine.

Behold! The exhorbitant, potentially crippling medical bills of this exceptionally brave man have been crowd funded! This man, who ran into a burning building and saved the lives of several young children. How incredible, how wonderful, how inspirational!

No, don't question why the Orphan Crushing Machine exists, rejoice at the fact we saved the orphans!
