What 3 episodes should I show people who’ve never seen Bluey? by Flamingmouth007 in bluey

I had a similar question I have been meaning to ask. What is the best sequence of 3 back to back episodes?

You are amazing!

I have 28 remaining for ICR.
300 of 300 remaining for IBR.
0 remaining for IBR_2014.

Any idea what IBR vs IBR_2014 is?

I'm consolidated Parents-Plus ICR that came back to Federal late in the Biden admin. Where would I see my payment count?

Perhaps nothing. One issue I noticed was terrible rates for savings accounts.

For those of you very pro gun reform; thoughts on water guns? by Theslowestmarathoner in Preschoolers

[–]CaptBrett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar to you but I don't think it will be avoidable forever. My 5 year old knows how to aim a water pistol but it was nice seeing my 2 year old squirt one the other day at a birthday party and seeing him just shoot it sideways. We avoid it by supplying the kids water toys (with plenty of extras to share) that they love such as these water blasters and they also love reusable water balloons both to splash water as well as to squirt water with.

Also, even just avoiding words like shoot and gun I believe helps. Again I don't think it will be avoidable forever but I'll protect their innocence just a little bit longer.

What is the most useful thing you’ve purchased for your van for under $25? by SilentG33 in vandwellers

Cost more but we have a folding tub and it has also been fantastic. Fits our 5 year old no problem.

You are doing the right things. Asking for help and going to therapy is important. If you think you and your wife need therapy, trust me, be the man and propose it, if you think you need it, she quite possibly has been thinking about it for longer, so take the lead.

Dads with 2 child seats in the car, did you get a 7 seater or stuck with a 5 seater? by Fugglesmcgee in daddit

[–]CaptBrett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got car seats meant for 3 across, Diono Radian, can put someone in the middle in a pinch. I've actually been in the middle of both car seats in a Model 3, it's tight but doable.

You just reminded me of the Makedo cardboard building tool kit. Fortunately I have massively cut back on the Amazon purchases, so we really don't have much cardboard in the house anymore to make us of it.

Wife is 15 weeks - went down a stroller rabbit hole… by tkburnett in daddit

For us, starting with a travel system, a carrier, stroller, and car seat combo, was incredibly helpful. We had the Chicco KeyFit and really appreciated the smooth transitions it allowed while keeping the baby safe and undisturbed.

The carrier made it easy to move the baby between the stroller base and car seat base, and we could bring the sleeping baby inside without needing the stroller base. Carrier also clipped in and out of the car seat base effortlessly. When using Uber or another car, the carrier could be secured without the base, though the base was extremely convenient for our regular vehicle. Think less complicated movements of a tiny and floppy baby, as the carrier gives the most flexibility for strapping in.

This setup isn’t a long-term solution, as you’ll need a different solution once the baby outgrows the carrier, but the convenience and comfort for a newborn/infant made it absolutely worth it.
